Hi. I purchased Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine based on this video. What is the concentrate to water ratio concentration? I went per the bottle and still looks light compared to the video. It is also not giving me better results than invisible glass cleaner. Maybe I need to add more concentrate, but looking to get some guidance. Thanks.
Hello! Sorry to hear that. It’s 1oz per 1 gallon of water. Yea Im sure my little bottle had a little bit higher concentration since I just eye 👁️ it and don’t measure 📐 it exactly now a days. You can try adding a little more also and see the outcome, I hope it works for you as it worked for me. Another thing to keep in mind is if you are using it in direct sunlight that could be a factor that could affect it, but in my experience it doesn’t really; just thinking of all the possibilities.
@@Dallasrebar thanks for watching & the feedback! Yea that’s a fair and good point. After the making of this video and gathering more info, others have suggested the following has worked for them - white vinegar diluted with water - Koch chemie glass cleaner - Windex For me a rinseless wash solution is still the most effective and economical solution but feel free to try many different methods 👍🏻
Yea that’s essentially what the first product carpro eraser is. It removes some of it off but not completely. I hope it works for you, but I think you will reach the same conclusion.
i tested this on my CT and the solution suggested is not working for me i tried multiple times different solution mixtures it streaked everywhere and left a coating that would not come off. Windex removed it with no issues though? any suggestions on what i am doing wrong
Hmm 🤔 interesting. Thanks for sharing, and I’m sorry it didn’t have the same results we had so far. Let’s go over a couple things to make sure 1. First is it the exact same solution? (Optimum No Rinse Rinseless wash) There are other brands and even the same brand produces a similar solution that has wax in it. The one you need is a blue color like you saw in the video and not a lime green which is their wax one 2. Using a clean microfiber 3. Spray first, clean the area, turn the rag over and buff off with a new dry side 4. Do it out of direct sunlight As you saw in the video it worked perfectly for us. We ended trying windex on the opposite side and it ended working the same even though at first it didn’t, which was very weird to us because on the passenger panels we showcased it left a tiny amount of residue from the hand oils but not on the other side Try this Let me know if that works
ok maybe teh direct sunlight is an issue its cloudy here not humid but cloudy yeah seems like some of the panels react differently to the same solution. i tried mine on back tailgate @@OQDetailing
@@stevemartin6776 Great question 🙋🏻♂️ It can be confusing since they are somewhat similar but they have different chemical blends to achieve a similar purpose. Waterless wash basically uses no water other then the one in the bottle or product being used, so you basically just have a bottle of waterless wash and spray and then wipe and that’s it. Rinseless wash does use more water in a bucket 🪣 and you can also add it to a sprayer bottle as you see me using in the video. Rinseless YOU CAN use water when washing, it just means that when you’re done washing the vehicle you don’t necessarily need to “rinse” the vehicle from the cleaning solution and you can go right into drying, hence you “rinse, less” compared to a traditional wash with soap and water. A traditional wash after you clean the vehicle with your soap you would need to rinse 🚿 it off before drying it. To not confuse you however, in this video I use rinseless wash, the way a waterless wash is supposed to be used but the chemical formulation between both of them can differ from brand to brand, and I dont necessarily recommend waterless wash for the Cybertruck I recommend rinseless , although if waterless is all you have then go ahead and try it and use and hope it works well!

Awesome and fair comparison. The only thing I would have done differently is to let the products sit for a minute so they can do their job.
