I have my 3rd pair ever (I'm 59😊) arriving from GH Bass, I returned my usual 9 and ordered an 8 bc they were Big. I was buying them anyway. I feel myself, I do me, I was feeling loafers anyway. Need a good for all business shoe. Not feeling pearls, etc. this year! I feel things and usually it's opposite of 'styles'. I'm getting my hair cut short, shave up neatly in back but have ton of 'movement' and good minimalist jewelry. 😮Cheap pearls, reds, socks with backless kitten heels😂.. cloning those political 80's, but no kitten heels until 90s. No thanks to copying grunge or mom-dad jean, please. ! finally, mid rise boot cut (with substantial back pockets & some creativity was here, then it went away!! I want a new world but not 1984 ;) I have been wanting to write this🤣thanks for reading and don't buy a thing that you can't use everyday is what I believe & imo... I cannot find well-fitting I'm not even buying that cute whale tissue & phone holder from amzzzon. What do you all buy to rely for you? Any go-tos? Any advice for me?Be nice lets keep being civil, breathe and let's not Karen-it. We all can freak out. Cut off Karens by looking through them, never respond at them, give none of your time. Only Dolly can carry off peep toe! Sling back pointy toe pumps with high and low heel are so much easier to wear than traditional pumps (court shoes). I have worn them for years and they wont be leaving my feet any time soon!
Oh jeez...We can all look forward to another UGLY year. What's with that?? Do designers even think of the aesthetics of a shoe before they produce it? Or is their only purpose to try to make stuff "different" for the sake of being different, even though most of it is simply an ugly variation on a previous classic design? As if loafers weren't ugly enough, now we get platform loafers. Can you say double fugly!! If to choose only one pair of heels (as you've requested) I'd have to go with the classic *Mango Patent Leather Pointy Toe Heels*. There's a reason designers like those at Christian Louboutin have incorporated that style and colour choice in their line up for years! It's simply gorgeous and goes with so many outfits, unlike most of a ridiculous styles you've profiled as 2024's top 10 shoe trends. Honorable mentions were the little kitten heel slingback styles, but specifically the *Franco Sarto D’Orsey Pump*
