Been learing about the subject for years and now I am learning new stuff here. Have something they can respect, not something partially realized that can be easily designed around for even greater utility. More kudos to you Lisa.

Maybe things do not happen as speedily as anticipated however if an invention could easily be knocked-off but first needs marketing to prove its value for licensing, it seems that it's a race to sell quick and get licensed fast to prevent getting knocked off and under sold by a large corporation.

Great talk! This was always on my mind and answered my questions. I like how you said that a little bit of fear is good but not paranoia.

Great stuff!!! Thank you :) I had a very talented attorney fill out our licensing companies NDA and modify it a bit to protect us both as good as possible.

So essentially you must take the deal once the company becomes very invested in correcting the problem you’ve exposed about them. Otherwise your walking away with nothing. I think if you explained to companies that you’ve got plenty more ideas, then maybe they’d be more fair?

Hi Chadd, I don't think you "must" take ANY deal:) At least I wouldn't recommend it unless it is the right deal for both of you. I would agree that having several ideas can help you get a deal but only if they are all good ideas, just having "many" is not enough.
