When Mualani is the only hydro in the team, Dehya should be enough, I believe. The enemy would never have a hydro aura due to Mualani applying pyro only once every 2 seconds or so to vape, leaving no residual hydro aura.
If memory serves, dehya only applies every 2 and a half seconds Mualani would need to hit every 3 seconds, which means she isnt enough to play mualani as you'd wish, unless you run burnvape of course

That's because Kazuha's burst prioritizes an order of elements. Pyro is its priority. Even when there are multiple reactions and elements present, if the burst detects a pyro element it'll swirl it first.

I'll just add Healer unit in double hydro core . Like Charloltte or Mika. Also using SoDP seems benefit this comp. Kuki maybe can be viable with SoDP but i suspect Sucrose need Prototype amber to help Kuki Heal. For the Vape team, some people predict Xinyan will work with her. If she can, that's so good. Making older and "Weak" unit become more usefull always a W.
Now thta mualani is out. I have her at lv80 and trying to find her a team... Its SO DANG HARD. Its really tough to keep the pyro aura always up without xl. The burning trams i tried dont always have the pyro aura up and im not sure why (nahida + deya/thoma/xinyan) my lv80 mualani E skills can deal 100-280k forward vapes rn but its not consistent due to the pyro support. Praying that future natlan releases will provide her witrh a suitable support
I hope her shark can plunge so xianyun has more value with her as the healer in a furina team. Being anemo, Xianyun can use VV so she seems like a good healer/debuffer combo.
I think Kazuha can be good with Mualani due to the hierarchy of elements his burst follows. I forgot the correct order but i know his burst prioritizes Pyro. If there are multiple elements in the battle and there is at least one pyro element present, his burst will swirl pyro. That'll give Mualani chances to do vaporize reactions.
the only adition i would make is in the mono hydro team; mualani furina - then jean for the viridescent AND the healing (works amazing with furina) - and maybe mona for buffing
I like how you incorrectly labled her vaporize "technically reverse vape" because so many pryo dps' use reverse vape that the term vape is almost exclusively used for them.
I'll probably make a Pseudo "Double HydroXHyperbloom" Team with Mualani, Furina, Kuki (C5) and Kirara (C4). Or maybe I'll also try a "Duo DPS" freeze Team with Mualani, Ayaka (as a sub-DPS, just Skill and Burst when ready), Furina and Charlotte.

Isn't absorbing pyro with your anemo to apply pyro good enough when paired with whatever Pyro you chose to use? Like, Venti, Sucrose, Kazuha, Lynette all can absorb and reapply Pyro with their bursts? But yeah I'm worried about her not having a team, definitely. If the above doesn't work, I have no other idea. And even with that, Xiangling's ER requirements and cooldowns probably won't work with her anyway, even if the Anemo unit helps providing Pyro longer.

Why would they make Mualani’s mechanics the best for vaporize when there’s no reliable pyro application???frustrating cuz that means she’s basically not gonna be at her full potential until we get a better option.

Many say just her skill is needed. Tho I'm confused myself. Alot of youtubers pair het with characters that buff normal atks... but if her shark doesn't count as normals them what's the point? I would like to think just focus on her skill.
A freeze team with furina, charlotte and kazuha will probably be team ill use for now... When we get another pyro enabler maybe Pyro archon then a vape team might be better but right now its just a hassle to deal with...

Pyro is really weak with its lack of good catalyst users with Klee and Yanfei not being good enough. If the pyro archon is a catalyst user, then that would solve everything. But leaks says she's another freaking sword user.
The problem is not the weapons but rather the fact that Pyro doesn't have an always reliable off fielder (Sure Dehya can be used but she is supposed to be a on fielder) while ALL OTHER ELEMENTS HAVE THAT. Hydro? Book boy, Yelan, Furina, Kokomi. Dendro? Emilie, Nahida, YaoYao. Electro? Fishl, Yae Miko Geo? Albedo, Chiori and Kachinka Anemo? FRIGGIN KAZUHA
It's a good team if you want to use your ult once every 2-3 rotations. Furina doesn't generate many particles, while Jean and Xiangling need 80 energy. Instead of Xiangling it would be better to use a Zhongli/Layla, I don't know how resistant to knockback Mualani is.

Her hydro application sucks, she has slow hydro application but big hits, so you wont trigger bloom that much. Also you dont want to build em on her if you arent vaping, so your occasional blooms will be weak. She is probably worst hydro you can think of for a bloom team. Not calling her a bad character, her slow and big hits synergizes very well with vape so she is good, but she is bad for nilou bloom or hyperbloom.
She's probably the worst onfielder for blooms first being that she has Slow hydro application meaning she will do almost 100% of the bloom dmg but like you need to go full em to maximize your dmg if you build full em you are Wasting her Skill damage if you build crit you waste blooms there is no hybrid
Errr I hate when people mistake hp scaling for hp buff muilani or whatever probably works like hu tao and not like yelan/furina/nilou her hp probably gets a percentage converted to atk like hu tao does with hp and itto does with defense which means that yes she can and does indeed work with Bennett or Xiangling even both just you need another hydro on her team for the hp buff!

You forgot that Kazuha's burst also counts as a pyro applier! Been testing non-bennett XL with Kazuha and no energy issues!
Benny/Kazuha are basically a pyro character together, similar to Jean with less application lol

Sucrose is still useful for burn comps due EM buff to Mualani, Xinyan can be an option for pyro slot, Mona has synergy with her

Team for my Mualani is Zhongli, Candace, Xiangling and Her.
anemo will always be needed, they amplify and shred resistance and can even provide EM buff or heal.

Instead of Siegwinne you could use Baizhu, higher teamwide heals and a refreshing shield. Bloom also comes in and adds an extra bit of damage.

Mualani’s attacks just scale fully with hp, thats it. Its not a bonus, its not split scaling. Its just pure hp% scaling.
