Photography (and Life) benefits from a fresh perspective every so often. Your take on large format is very impressive - as is your engineering skills. An aluminium-alloy body, no bellows, customised helicoid focusing system for each lens (with calibration) in Large format is ingenious ! While not having the pleasure of operating your cameras, I know the experience - I own something similar : a customised 6x9 MF camera with 4 Schneider lens each with their own professionally made helicoid focusing mount. These type of systems increase adaptability (due to the modular concept), reduce the fragility and ensure that precision is a lasting feature of the purchase. I'm sure your cameras make Large Format photography quicker and easier. This finally may be a reason for me to get into Large format. Thank you for your noteworthy contribution to the photographic community worldwide. I pray it gets the success it deserves.
I am happy that you are interested in my cameras. Also, your experience with a technical medium format camera is valuable. I hope you come to the world of large format soon.
a great design, looks very similar to the sinar f2 or P2 standards, a Sinar handy in fact, so.... if you add two of these cameras, with some bellows, and a monorail with standard bases you could make a whole system, a wide-angle camera, like you have, OR combine parts to get a full monorail camera, with the sinar's modular concept, 4x5" or 5x7" format, as you already have the reducing backs. even going minimalistic, you have the makings of a linhof Technikardan style camera, great for traveling, and due to the slim nature, a great "suitcase" camera.
Thank you very much. Because this system is modular, any changes are possible for it. But for now, my main goal is to expand and produce the handy technical camera system. But I may make changes in the future. Thank you for your comment.
@@alvandicamera thanks, and another idea, the lens mount appears to be a bayonnet style, I haven't seen any videos about that, what lenses are mountable, and how, to retrofit this helicoid system to a copal shuttered lens. Are these cones available with lenses attached, aka an X shutter like phase one uses for their xt series, or can any LF lens fitted, and by anyone, or do you need a "shop" to do it, and just buy the helix and the boards.
@@andyvan5692 Because the cameras have the ability to movement, basically large format lenses should be used for them. But Hasselblad V and Mamiya RB lens boards are also designed for them without tuning the shutter. Installing the lens is very simple and should be done by the photographer himself. There is also a method for calibrating the helical focus mount. Calibration will be done after installation and before first use. You can not use xt series.

Awesome! I hope you do very well.
Thank you so much.
You are an amazing engineer.
Thank you so much.
Nice!
