remember when computers werent black square corperate themed and had neat colors, multiple themes, and made little jingles and stuff. good times.. I always thought the screen fading to black and white was a great touch
Just remembered what I missed from XP. Colors truly helped: - yellow was for sleep mode - red for shutting off - green for restart and I didn't have to read it, just instant press, but now I have to READ the text before pressing, lol. Bring back colors, Gates!

Windows XP didn't hide backups of backups of junk we didn't need to keep, unlike Windows 10. I wrote myself instructions of how to do everything in Windows XP. These days Microstuffed keep changing parts of the operating system with pointless monthly updates (or more often), so one way of doing something could be different the next month.
11 has removed so many basic features that I can't even keep up with the sheer amount of things they've removed... not to mention it's an absolute buggy mess. I miss the XP days... hell even Vista, which everyone HATED, was miles above 11.
I mean its fun to install xp on a pc and all... But having the classic XP setup from then even with CRT (not sure if this is crt...), is literally insane! I love your videos!

I started with DOS. But it isn't the only problem. Not always, but I loved to wait the calculator doing something and listening to the noise of such an elaboration, which is a hdd noise or better a 1,44" floppy sound. Miss all of it 😭
Here is a cool trick for xp users: go on to a newer computer and get a usb flash drive and download windows xp embedded theme off the internet and put it on to your usb drive and then plug it in to the windows xp pc or laptop and open the theme and hit ok and enjoy 👍
the good old windows xp.. i played gta vice city, matrix path of neo, hulk, nfs most wanted 2005/carbon, cs source.. installed britannica encyclopedia coz we dont have internet back then made my thesis in there, my very first resume omg. intel pentium 4 2.4ghz with 256mb 333mhz ddr ram with 32gb integrated graphics by s3 prosavage ddr later upgraded to a 128mb ati radeon 9250. and i played lots of stronghold crusader there while listening to music via winamp player. oh wow! and dont forget the windows office with lots of assistants.

Gates stopped directly working on windows after windows 7, you can tell by looking windows 8 start menu
Actually, "Stand By" can even be orange if hibernation is enabled which is yellow in any case.
