According to idea and origin from comics, Morbius could have turned out to be a dark, gothic body-horror something like mix of Dracula and "The Fly" 1986 about a scientist who, in an attempt to find a cure from disease during an experiments, turns into a pseudo-vampire and terrorizes the whole ship. This might be perfect presentation of The Living Vampire as villain with tragic fate. That would be much more interesting than SONY's superhero crap with bad script and PG-13...

I've seen enough superhero movies with both pg-13 and R. And both of them work well if they are compensated by a good plot, however pg-13 has become too sterile and reduces the potential of characters like Morbius, Venom, and Carnage. In addition, the plot of these films is so terrible that R rating would not save them. As a result, it turned out to be another mediocre movie that no one asked and nobody cares about.

Who plays a perfect Jared Leto as morbius that's a perfect role for him! And morbius is not a monster when you see him looking back at her I saw a little glimmer of humanity.
