EVERYONE in my year at school bought the Transformer album when it came out and this was the song. It still is. R.I.P. Herbie.
I absolutely loved Herbie's personality..
amzing , great, thank you so much
There's no one else in the music business like Herbie, God bless him! Some of the best stories you'll ever hear.
Iconic bassist
One of the greatest
Golden!
Makes my vision cloud!
Real one of a kind guy. Damn good bassplayer too, respect.
La ligne de basse la plus mythique du Rock & Roll .... génial !!!
This song and the Stray Cats got me into bass when I was about 8.
Herbie Flowers is the greatest raconteur in music.
Amazing!!! That song would be nowt without Herbie Flowers,,,I take my hat off.
Herbie Flowers - a bass player so legendary, that Dave Swift is his bass player.
what i like about this bassline are the occasional fills. Essentially nothing more than simple C major arpeggios but somehow very artfully done.
R.I.P Herbie 😊
❤

Not trying to be a smart ass, but it was just irresistible. You understand.
