All citizens should be required to review this annually. And we should be better at understanding the constitution than we are at understanding service agreements.
Omg !! Why did y’all only start this now! Like don’t get me wrong I’m thankful and all, but I wish y’all would’ve done this topic a long time ago !😭😭😭😭Still... forever loving and giving support to Khan Academy !!!
Here's a little tip if your also using Kahn academy to study for the GED and due to being of out of school for a while you get over whelmed by your inability of comprehend while note taking. 1. If your on the Kanh academy site (highly recommend its entirely free and you dont have to make an account to test yourself or get feedback) read the transcript of the video. I find reading and being able to go back to what was said by skimming a few lines instead of skipping back and hearing (and forgetting ) the same clip over and over again to be tedious. SO seeing it all written out in front of me really helps. 2. If your watching the videos here on youtube some of them are thankfully split into chapters. Watch on chapter without writing anything down and really try to take in the cause and effect of what's going on in the social studies lesson. Then write a summary (using the notes on the screen to remember while your stuck.)
Government is too big and too powerful. And license everything, you have to register everything, from the advent of the cell phone to the birth certificate, to the social security number we are slaves end of story.
It probably had something to do with English common law and women and natives not being regarded as legal persons but as wards of their male guardians/the state, respectively, but I'm no expert.
The Constitution was really far ahead of its time. There were still social structures that lagged behind its goals, as such women, Natives, and Africans' rights were not always protected as they should have been. Fortunately, as society progressed toward the goals of the Constitution, such things changed.
Is it "insure" domestic tranquility? Is that a spelling that changed over time or were they giving insurance on domestic tranquility? Or did they want to ensure it?
Current politicians should be required to review this annually so that eventually it will be understood by them.

Can we get a president to watch these videos?
Or any politician? State or federal level. That would be great.
It was originally "Some of us guys", but John Adams suggested they change it to the more appropriate "We the people".
Wait actually
Amazing video!
RUclips has restricted this video about the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States. My students are unable to view it on this platform.
I am a student and I had to use my home account to watch this

So why did they say people are given rights and justice when native Americans had their land stolen and women were still seen as second to men?
