Doug, my condolences for Bubba. Losing a pup is never good. What a beautiful memorial to him.
Call it what you want; it’s an infomercial in the best sense of the word. Not just listing the products, but showing practical applications, and how well they’ll work together.
I’ll watch any you wanna film.
Thanks brother!
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial I wanted to say why not push your products, after all if your proud of the parts you make why no tell the world. And I have seen Motion parts in the wild, they just don't stop. If us Aussies joke by saying Haltech is Aussie for good stuff, then Motion would have to be the US equivaling of the same!
Honestly you should talk to the Haltech guys and have them stock your Rife Sensors, after all both Brands have the same ethos on quality. Just seems to be a good fit to me!
Lookin' good Doug (great name!), which I'll be honest, I had doubts of it coming back after seeing the damage after your, um...incident.
One suggestion:
The removable dash looks like a great feature...but those top bolts are gonna be annoying once the windshield glass is installed. Replace 'em with 1/4 turn Dzus buttons now while access is easy, it'll make life more pleasant when you're thrashing to get it fixed on one of those two hundred degree drag & drive days..
🤘
Doug your nova is coming out unbelievable. My favorite part was when you where walking Down the aisle grabing the parts you need . That sir is life goals 🙌
I love how you took the time to explain a lot of the stuff you are installing! Thank you!
I’m so jealous that thing looks incredible. I can’t wait to see it.
Awesome to see some Aussie made products going into such an awesome care over in the USA 👌 plus don’t be sorry for being proud of the products you make and talking them up to everyone!
Not anymore. Owned by an american company now and produced in china.
Watch a lot of KSR, and appreciate the deeper dives into the bits n bobs used to put stuff like this together! Honestly, I haven’t taken a deep dive into Morion’s catalog, mostly seen stuff used by Cleet/ other RUclipsrs/Motion tech videos, but it is cool to see what you guys offer and how it gets designed/engineering put into it. That sensor block is super trick!
Doug you are very Modest! Car is looking Awesome, Good to finally see it making its way back into the race line up. Mullet needs some more competition! LOL #BuiltByBo
Sad to hear about bubba mate, proud of your campaign for him. Fantastic work on the nova as well can’t wait to see it run a lap
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Doug!
My gosh that's bad ass. Idaho boys killed it. Hoping they'll be doing some work on my velle since I'm in the same state.
Sorry for the loss of your 🐶. Nova lookin good
Looking amazing Doug... I know what happened was unfortunate but now you can definitely clean up some things and make it drag and drive ready! It's definitely nice you have some shelves to pull some parts from!
Yea man!! Great to see errrr back home an looks awesome!! Can't wait to see the Nova back to 100 percent done!! Enjoyed it Doug!! Hope you have a awesome day!! 💥💥👊💥💥
It would be awesome to see a time lapse of brad doing the wiring. The Nova is looking beautiful.
Great vid. Thanks
Nova is looking good , glad to see it coming back to life. I used to have a 69 SS and I miss it.
I also love haltech stuff doug, they really do know what's going on. On the new build now I'm going to try fuel tech. Mainly because its a 4 cylinder Honda build and this is what PFI SPEED recommends.
Keep up the good work dude 👏.
🎄✌️👍🇬🇧
I would be like a little kid on a sugar buzz walking through there grabbing anything I wanted
How awesome is that.Glad your rebuilding
Being a child of the 60s and 70s we all had Cuda’s, Nova’s, Camaro’s Vette’s etc. Although I liked Nova’s that was about it, until I saw your Nova yrs ago. You’ve built one hell of a beautiful car, well done!
My condolences for bubba definitely flying high watching over the NOMOD
man I can't wait to see it back again
I recently lost 2 of my oldest dogs just a over a month apart. We had a 13 year old Dane we had to put down in October just to lose our 12 year bulldog mix to cancer late November. I now have a new shop dog. He’s a mini Bernadoodle, which is a lot smaller than my previous shop dog, but is all heart and filled a void we had. Love the content as much as the car!
Sick build, dude. Thanks for the content. That thing's gunna be rowdy.
R.I.P. Bubba
Real life/relatable build planning.
Looks killa !
Very clean! I’ll be doing something similar on mine.
sick build Doug!
Awesome build
Hi Doug the car great. I wanted to mention if you are looking for quality valves rated for fuel like ball valves, control valves. There a company in my home town called Milwaukee valve. They build industrial and process valves of all kinds. And it’s quality stuff not flimsy loose and leaky garbage. Also rated for fuels of all kinds. That’s Milwaukee Wisconsin. Can’t wait to see the car back out. Always enjoy your detail shared on your builds.
Wow..... just wow.
Good to see the car, cant wait to see it in action!!
Looking pretty damn good so far, can't wait to see the rest.
I need that dash setup in my life.
So clean!
Cool to see all of the motion parts on your car Doug!
I’m going to need a second mortgage for my next car it seems. Lol
Car looks killer. Can’t wait to see it go down the track again
nice to see the Nova back Love this ride so much!!
Man glad to see the nova back.ive always love them and this is one of my favorite. Glad to see the progress looking good.
Those new race tech seats and it'll be like a Cadillac. Super clean Doug love the steel and LT1
Sorry about your buddy I know how it is not a easy thing to go through but I just wanted to say great video you nailed it doug. I'm from a little town about 45 Minn from MRW in DeWitt .sorry for the book
Looks beautiful
Glad to finally see you get your Nova back!!!
Glad to see it's coming back it's always been up beautiful car thanks Doug take it easy butt 😁👍
Lots of cool stuff! Looking great.
Halltech is a great systems. If you need tuning help just call up Tuning Fork, and he'll fix you right up.
Doug the nova is coming around nicely!! We are in the process of doing a bunch of upgrades to our nova as well. Definitely saving this video to get some ideas on brake set up, sensors, wiring, etc. Can not wait to see it done and how well it performs! Been looking forward to this for a long time
Going to be one smart car with all the Haltech gear installed..
Its a bit harder to install and set up then Holly stuff but well worth it. Probably more expensive then other brands too
I run the older elite2500 with the same switch pannel and dash in my Aussie street car, the german made sensors are super reliable. I just love it
I hope the inventory guy or gal is paying attention!
Can’t wait to see this thing back out there! Awesome build
Wow what an amazing car!! And my goodness the bubba caps are so heart felt
So happy to see this car back..please keep us updated
Nice to see the Nova come together again. It broke my heart seeing this gem tap the wall. Will it be ready for next season? :)
He's said that the planned debut is gonna be Sick Week..gonna be a hustle if they want to do any testing first!
Isnt sick week in feb? 😳
@@nodorf3778
Yup..two months to get a shit-ton of details finished and turn it from a roller to a driver..
Hard enough to pull off when you can go at it full time. Dude's got a business to run too, yanno?
Looks awesome respect from Denmark 🇩🇰
So many well thought out ideas.
Super cool love the video really informative lot of nice pieces😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔👍👍👍👍👍
Old girl looking good. Coming back to life
That’s going to be an animal man looks great
Sorry for your loss. I miss my boxer everyday still. Always a puppy.
Having the phone number of a good wiring guy is like gold, ngl. What might take me a week takes them two days and it looks clean af.
Looking good Doug!
1:00 in is THE money shot ! I'd give both nuts to pop my and see that engine combo . lol Merry Christmas to you and yours from down here in frozen Texas land.
Are you going to do anything to keep the front tires from throwing rocks and other debris into the turbos?
That is gonna be one bad ride!
Glad your going with haltech the nexus r5 the possibilities are endless with inputs outputs ur not limited there is just so much u can do with it and the new software i heard is next level stuff nd it hasn't even been released for that long theres gonna be much more with updates
When you were describing your driver side catch can routing, it sounded like you might be designing a low spot where oil is going to accumulate in the line. That would be no Bueno, of course. Also to make mounting the Mac valves easier and equalizing length of CO2 line, just put a small hands loop in the shorter side. My two cents. Love the detail.
Those are cute turbos!
Need to have something like a speaker great in your dash so you can put a fan in there to cool down your electronics in the summertime on them hot days
Nice to see progress on the Nova. Do you have your paint and wiring done in QC area?
You all should do more of these videos. Are you all going to make a OD Oporator?
Another great video👍 like this build. But i have a question about the turbo location i know there will be some sort of filters doing the drive from track to track. What about the actual track racing. Will there be some sort of screen installed?
Not a builder but aren't you asking for probs having the turbos right behind the front tires ? I sorta feel those tires will be throwing up ground shrapnel directly into the turbo intakes?
Rip whoever gets that blinker switch. He definitely put it back for one he didn’t drop 🤣🤣
Sorry about bubba. Man that sucks. Our dogs are like our kids. Car’s looking awesome though.
Fantastic job! Can you share who made your radiator Support? Do you guys sell it ?

Hey Doug I know safety is a big thing at Motion Raceworks So please get you some RaceTech seats they're way more comfortable Way more protection and they will save your life
Plus John Doc said too.
Who’s that
Are you sticking with the small block to keep up with your customer needs? I prefer big blocks, I’ve run them for years because they aren’t as high strung and I don’t worry about blowing the motor and crashing the car, it’s more expensive the first time, but once you crash the car once with a motor chucking a rod or lifting a head and getting oil or water under the tire a big block is a lot cheaper. I’m not saying anything you don’t know, and I’m very impressed with what you’ve been able to do with the Gen 5 small block. Great work, nice build.
Just trying to expand on the gen v lineup. It’s a pretty capable combo. Not saying I won’t ever switch, but it’s fun to develop new stuff for new combos
Looks like a very high dollar build, any idea what the final weight of the car will be?
Doug, are you planning on Sick Week or just RMRW & Race Week 2.0, or Drag Week for 2023?
I noticed the two -16 fittings on the upper radiator, what's the extra fitting for? Just more volume?
Hey Doug I have a question about ur shifter...I see that cleetus used a 3 speed 400 shifter on the blazer for the 4l80e. I'm just curious how that works
I cried for days when I lost my Otis....Waiting across that rainbow bridge.
I know this is probably a shot in the dark but can you show us how to setup the air shifter in the nsp software?
Not to be negative, but I work for a chemical plant, we use mac valves on everything. They are trash, constantly failing… they are also very temperamental to temperature
RIP Bubba. What radiator and fans are you using?
Car looks amazing I'm sure Bubba would be ecstatic to sniff every inch of that car after it came back.
I miss the Doug building cars videos!
TURN YOUR PART NUMBERS (pkg cards), IN, TO ACCOUNTING. Nothin's free. Intra corp. writeoffs pay materials production waste costs.
Sell those Bubba Caps and donate the money or supplies to animal rescues of your choice in Bubbas memory. Giving new pups the chance to be old pups.
Bossman it might be just me but won't you get stuff from the tires when you're going down the strip blowin up into the turbos?
Are there "strut rods" on the engine? To prevent front to rear, besides the crossmember. Im sure you do, just curious how you are preventing that thrust movement of the engine/trans.
Yep and we make a kit for it, but already on
What Davies water pump model did you use in this video?
Congratulations 2023….
Will your air filter s fit on the turbos in their new spot? Tires are close maybe sort of?
There’s more room than it appears, measured and it’ll be golden
If one day you decide to put a built BBC in the Nova you should go ahead and go double frame rail with a carbon fiber trans tunnel and carbon fiber driveshaft back to a 4link rear suspension to give you more adjustability of the rear suspension and put a Fab9 rear end in it from Merrilat racing and put a strut front suspension under it to give you more adjustability in the front of the car and rack and pinion steering if you don't have it already but yeah I'm a huge fan of the Nova and I would love to see a BBC in it one day soon and going low 6s in the ¼ and low 4s even high to mid 3s in the 8th and then you would be making Cleetus rethink his build of Mullet and how much he is missing out on having a car that weights less than 3000lbs because as of right now he says Mullet weights 3500lbs and if that is true then that car really does move going into the 6.40s in the ¼
14:20, it would be better to flip the valve covers and put the cap in the front.
Is the intake backwards?
I never realized how stuff relating to cars could sound like gibberish to the average human, until I imagined myself trying to explain 27:00-28:00. If you had no idea what you were listening to, you’d think that was nonsense Lol
Is 2 catch cans safe for e85 or do you need a burn down tank in the rear ?
It is safe yes
That is a bad unit doug. Cant wait to see that car ripping again. Sorry about bubba.
