Thank you for sharing. It was interesting what she had to say about Tim Carter. Now, every documentary out there Tim Carter is in it, talking negatively about Jim Jones when he was one of Jonestown elites.
I really believed that Tim Carter was a sincere guy and was just a victim under Jim Jones control. It looks like he was a Jones loyalist.

Larry Layton didn't kill leo ryan! Larry shot on the airplane and I'm not sure if he killed that mother on the airplane or not. Larry was the fall guy and there was NEVER a attempt to find those 3 gunman who did the killings on the airstrip. Not only that Dwyer was on the airstrip during the killings then somehow made it back to Jonestown safely and we all know he was a double agent working for the Good old C👁🗨A! Leo Ryan was Lured to Jonestown to be murdered. Sad world we live in when people try to do the right thing loose their lives while the demons continue to do the devils work on human beings....
Help me understand…I fail to see how the US Government is at fault for this. Exactly what was the US Government/State Department supposed to do about US Citizens choosing a religion & church to join?…& choosing to move to another country?

It wasn't nothing they could do.. if the government gets involved with religious groups it becomes a slippery slope.. Now I don't agree with all government issues and institutions but I disagree with them getting the brunt of disapproval for things beyond their control.
This was a CIA/MKULTRA operation. The medical lab on the facility was air conditioned, and fully stocked with enough pharmaceutical drugs, to medicate the city of Georgetown Guyana for one year. The whole this program was funded by the CIA and all of its financiers. The people there did not commit suicide, but the majority fled into the jungle areas surrounding Jonestown are where gunned down by Guyanese troops among other military forces involved in the killings. The whole program was classified and still is today totally covered up.

Yes, but when people willingly depart, it's tricky. Add in religion, that's more difficulties. We can't count on the government to protect us from our own stubbornness. And remember, the USA 🇺🇸 doesn't negotiate with terrorists, or meddle in religion, or most of our free will. And if the government would've stepped in, Jones would've bailed out . And the massacre would've still happened. They can't stop people from being in an organization. Based on the recordings I heard from PT, I wouldn't have followed that man out of the country. I understand that not all discern or dissect leaders. This is a cautionary ⚠️ tale to listen for keywords or 🚩before trusting one's life in another's hands.

How was the CIA to predict that Jones would become a preacher? And that people were to follow him? And if they had pharmaceuticals then why ambush them? What was the purpose for the CIA?

Mark Lane should have been prosecuted as a Jones accomplice. President Carter said he didn't interfere with Jonestown due to it being a "church", even though Jones promoted atheist Communism. The interviewer asked "will we ever get to the bottom of exactly what happened?" The answer is yes, the whole Jonestown massacre has been thoroughly documented and we know pretty much everything behind it. By the way this was circa Nov. 1979, not 1978, as the interviewer asked how Jackiie is one year later. Jackie said she didn't know there was any threat, but then why did she write a will before going there? There were plenty of warnings about what was happening there, including Debbie Layton's extensive testimony. By the way Jackie went on to serve in Congress taking Ryan's seat and just recently retired.

Richard Dwyer (DCM) Cia chief of Jonestown operation was there and along with Mark Lane disappeared before the killing took place. The entire staff of the Medical Dispensary were also evac'd out before the killing began.
