PLEASE paint that engine bay. That's what I've hated most about this car since it was built. Non body color looks horrible.

Awesome score. Always wondered where the car went and why he sold in first place?? Please remove the wrap for the love of God! And easy power fix is a nice little Vortech. ;) PS cam is almost certainly an E303 unless someone swapped it out for another.

Tap on the IAC valve with a wrench see if the idle drops if it doesn't you might have a vacuum leak check the pcv valve in the back of the motor follow the hose 🔧🚗🦊👊💪🇺🇸

I started watching your channel and actually subscribed to it because I love mustangs and I just happened to be the father of a 21 year old auburn haired daughter who loves mustangs and seeing what you did with buying your daughter the 86 4 eye kinda hit me in the feels. So seeing this video really was a massive punch in the gut for me to be honest. there is no way in hell that car is worth $37,500 and now I think I have figured out why this channel's videos do not seem to get the views I originally thought it should in my opinion. I believe that you and several of your fellow "mustang lovers creators" are simply having these privately held online auctions and simply passing these cars around between each other generating multiple sales records of insane prices and artificially driving up the price of these cars so you guys could make a lot of money selling the cars that y'all have stock piled. Now if I am wrong about this then I will apologize but I don't think I am and that is disappointing. BTW you said in the video that you lowered your daughters 86 mustang that you thought the AOD transmission had a shift kit in it because it shifted like it did it most likely doesn't you change the transmission TV cable and you didn't set the cable to the proper specs and that is wahts making the car shift like that just loosen the tension slightly and the car should shift nor mal but as long as it isn't too extreme the way it is it should not cause any major problems. Anyway I just wanted to say that and I will not be posting anymore comments to your channel after this and I am glad I watched this video.
I appreciate you checking out the channel and giving it a chance. You're certainly entitled to your opinion about the prices on this and other Mustangs and I won't bother arguing with it as I've been doing RUclips long enough to know there is not point in doing that. I will ask Matt at Fox Mustang Restoration about the TV cable, but I believe it is installed correctly because it shifted that way too before I replaced the TV cable as well. Hey Matt, are the turnbuckles still in place under the front fenders like in the pics while the car was at MM when the flares were being installed? Or was that simply for mock up?

As an avid autocrosser, and Road racer. I would recommend driving the car first! (Make it run good and safe of course..) don't modify it any further beyond that. Spend a season driving it how it is, and learn what the car actually needs for you. It's different for every driver style.

I'm so excited about this!! I remember when Farah had it. It was my whole reason for following him. Unfortunately, we were all let down with the lack of content. As far as more power, i think a polished V3 with heritage gears would be fitting =)

Bilstein is what is already on there i'm pretty sure. I have a set of Koni's laying around that I need to use for something.

Interesting what pseudo prominence within a culture will do to a car's value. "It's Matt Farah's old car" adds zero value in my world. Congratulations to you for obtaining something that you coveted and desired. That part. That emotion .. I get that, but with every further explanation you're making about the car kinda deflates it's value. Not a real SSP. Just a simple Ford Crate Engine, body damages, cobbled interior, incorrectly installed spotlight (it shouldnt touch the body) .. man ... I feel for you. Time to make it your own and take Farah's name off it.
I expect it to continue to go down in value actually. $65,000 in 2018 ($80,000 today adjusting for inflation), $35,000 in 2021 ($40,000 today adjusting for inflation), $37,500 in 2023. Also the wrap has started to come off and there are issues with the paint as well.
I'm happy to have the car.

Yeah .. the wrap has got to go! Murdered out BLACK with the custom interior/seats is where it's at. I'd say get it purring and go enjoy a local SCCA Solo2 event with it. Of course, with all the suspension mods, you'll be in a class of REALLY fast race prepped cars and experienced drivers .. but enjoy experience.

I miss the old days when you can pick up a fox for 5k and 10k for super clean one.. Great you are pushing your dream car brother.
It's quite high for sure. At least I got a better deal than the previous two, as with inflation 35k in 2021 is like 42k now. Crazy. Thanks man.
It isn't always about what makes more power. The s550 is dime a dozen everybody has that those. You can't compare an old unique car to a dime a dozen newer car. With that said the price is steep but it is kind of a famous car and it's very very nicely done.

No worries. 37.5k for me. I think of the 3 sales so far I got the best deal as 35k in 2021 is like 40k today. Also I don't think you can build it for that including all the parts and labor.
