Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia, strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

I WILL KEEP YOU IN OUR PRAYERS AND YOUR PLANTS. SINCERELY, ANNETTE QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA
awee thank you..its good now ...its poured heavily and things got better :) thanks again
Omg! The sky looks so angry. Stay safe. God bless.
yes looks furious
Rainy season just started here in Trinidad too. Wish us all good luck!! 🙏 🤲
oh wow and how long does the monsoon season last ?
@LushGardener, it's usually June to December
Useful video
Thanks for sharing
So relatable hahaha. Honestly I’ve given up. If they survive they survive. Oh and I’m also getting a mini greenhouse for them so until then, they’re gonna have to survive the rain by themselves 😆
hahaha i m with you hahah ..yes its frustrating at time ...i remember once setting up the plastic sheet took me around 30-45 mins clipping and tucking everything ..one wind and everything got ripped apart ..i gave up lol
It shall all pass
I have seen in the previous video you have secured your beauties well in advance which is wise of you Sir🦉
On the contrary ,we need the rain due the scarcity of water in different cities caused due to wastageof water , no options like desalanation plants and with overpopulation with it being the elephant in the room.
So the rain is a blessing and hopefully just enough to fill the reservoirs.
Thank you for sharing this video
Much appreciated.
yes yes after last years less rain ...now m like it must rain alot ..there was huge scarcity of water ...i wish i had some permanent transparent roof things would have been very easy
Thank You for your reply Sir.
Maybe when the sun comes up and you have the time a temporary green house made from bamboo with translucent cover would be ideal.
Your recipe for your succulent soil mix never fails in all weather conditions.
Thank you!
You can setup a green house using semi hard transparent plastic sheets 0.5mm. You can actually stitch them as well or use paper clips to tuck.
i have tried everything ...as m on the terrace the wind is so strong it even push of metal chairs away only option is to have a roof with metal stands and a transparent roof
lol it’s thundering here
And such an equatorial weather
Rains at 4 pm accompanied with thunderstorms
And extreme sun in the morning
yes this lasted for about an 1 hour and then its cleared lol ...seen the sun set too its was clear sky then
What type of Wind chime is that? Sounds lovely! Where did u buy it?
there are around 8 of them ...wind chimes its diff to get the same one as these were purchased from local shop
Does ur area get Tornados? Thats how the sky looks when we get them here
no we don't ..its just strong wind
Im in the Philippines. We badly need the rain with temperatures rising to the 40•C rain is a much needed respite
oh ..i think it will start raining soon there ..here too this year it was very hot and finally this gave a relief ...i think in Philippines thunderstorms are very common once it rains
@@LushGardener i hope it rains soon.. So many dead plants this year, from crown rot.. all my aeniums are dead. I swear no more Aeniums for me.😭
oh nooo :( ...yes aeoniums cant handle too much heat ..in such conditions they are the first t die :( hence they hit dormancy once it gets warm... i dont keep them too..
How is the water situation in Bangalore
actually the acute water shortage was only in certain parts of Bangalore ...my place had water but not 24 hours.but it was enough..whereas those parts didnt even have water to even wash vessels....those were luxury apartments with pools, large gardens, community centres etc ...no water harvesting system done...now they couldn't even rely on water tankers because each apartment had over 300 plus flats..for my building one water tanker can last for 2 days less people...for them it was like adding one drop of water....i would say very very poor planning on the part of management and of the builder..they are not prepared for such situation or think something like this will happen and in future things are going to get worse...most of these apartments were build by closing the lakes.so water cant get stored... in summer water shortage and in monsoon flooding ...people who purchased these apartments are in big mess
to be honest nobody actually cares even with such devastating signs people arent bothered this is big time wake up call ...in the name of development..currently there are still many lakes that are getting encroached...its all about making money :(
