Even his hair is mastered perfectly.
Haha
😂 Slamming
Hes able to make to low end sound so big yet the rest of the mix sounds so alive. Also he can mould kick and bass really well.
The Master of Mastering! Babicz
One of my favourites you have done. Big up Slices! More Tech Talks for 2015 ;-)
genius. so grateful he is willing to share his secrets.
Thanks ! Liked this video and other videos from your channel! It's great
Revised this video and again it’s very inspiring!
This guy is an inspiration :)
der "hall kühlschrank" :D großartig
Tape machine and analog spiral hall givin‘ goosebumps ... I like it very much 😉
I really appreciate the perspectives of the artists on EB.TV Tech Talk. Even though I know my way around a techno mix, everybody does things a bit differently and they all have merit. As for Babicz, it's impressive that even on RUclips his stuff sounds so airy, rich and punchy.
Didn´t see this tech talk before... nice!!!
Mitch? He still does modds?
grandioso robert and also, i love the hairdoo! :P
netter Typ & gute Musik
:)
😊👍👍🎼🎶✌
:)
Robert, you look cool dude *high five*
Musikschule by Robert Babicz...da würde ich mit Mitte 40 nochmals umschulen :-) Ein wahrer Künstler
Do you master other people's tracks? E.g. mine 😂 thank you
Tons of gold in this video! Thanks! Can someone re-translate the part about Hip Hop? I think he is just talking about parallel processing, but want to be sure. 5:52
Der Typ hat es drauf. Alle Achtung 👍
@ Stingray: Yes he is talking about the parallel compression. Check out the RA article about it for more information ;)
🤔
After digging deep in the archives these past two weeks to bring you lost gems from DJ KOZE and BRITISH MURDER BOYS in our Slices Classics series on Electronic Beats TV, we're back for a last holiday installment with ROBERT BABICZ, whom many of you will also know as ROB ACID. This Tech Talk was filmed for issue 3-07 of Slices and has inspired a lot of feedback.
Happily for all of us, the mastering advice that our audience found so good back then rings equally true today. Enjoy!

lets go
das ist so interessant :)
Track IDs?
Analog tape recorders just soud better in low frequencies..its like gain low mass.....i think its cause it has lower channel separation db rates...so it sounds close to mono signal...witch gain bass a lot...
🔥🇨🇦👊🏿
5:40 Robert Babicz - Sin
6:50 Does someone know the track playing in the background ?
Any chance of an interview with Mitch?
Best production tip 9:45
:P
Anybody knows the name of the track at 7:00 which is amazing? I am searching for it for very long time. Cheers!

EPI => API
3:02 - He meant not Pressable (on vinyl), right? nothing to do with compression, like the subtitle says.
maybe both :D
05:50 - this is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallel_compression
I'm feelung overcompressed though.
It’ll be fun to have my music rejected auf Deutsch 😆

Hum, you despise presets Robert... say what ? Speak louder, can't hear you...

Laber laber laber!!! Hat nie SEQUENCE DES WINDES oder DIE NACHT AUS BLEI live gespielt 😂😂😂
Babicz is an excellent mastering guy and a producer as well, but man he is so pretentious in this video. Probably equally as pretentious in Real life.
