Hi Ace Poppadoms are what we eat with Indian curries we got the taste for them from the Colonial days . They’re usually served with lime pickles , rata and various other Indian dips . Love the channel keep up the good work and love to you and the ancient 🙏
Way back in 1975 we used to fish on Anglins fishing Pier in Ft. Lauderdale and used a white side winder lure and there was always a run of Spanish mackerel that the Blue fish chased toward the pier. We filled 2 burlap bags when there was no limit of Spanish mackerel.
I caught about 32 Spanish macros with those lil shrimps lol. Keep on the insane content mate and thanks four showing the bait that brought me food for several days!😂
Ciao a Tutti! Ian, well done! No sauce! Then, if You want, a little salt, then a little pepper, then lemon..just at the fourth taste! Da Livorno (Tuscany, Italy)😋
Lady fish is really good for make fish paste. Filet them out , use spoon to shave the mushy meat to the bowl . Put salt , black pepper, little sugar, green chives onion. Mix them up only couple minutes until meat kind of stick together ( mix too long it will become very rubbery) . Paste it like burger size . Deep fry and enjoy 😅
Hey Ace! The popadums are mainly used in Indian dishes, normally to scoop up the juices or rice, they’re really good if you use them with a dipping sauce too
I started watching when you'd leave food out in the woods, I loved that, your commentary as critters would show up, very enjoyable, thanks for cool content.
Thanks to ace I get to wake up in the morning and have a good video to watch while my ankle has a torn ligament is so wonderful love the video ace keep up the good work love u bro
At the beginning of the video when the guy standing next to ace caught the fish ace said “nice catch” or so thing like that and the guy looked at him with a stare of utter death, guess that tends to happen in the morning 😂😂😂
Must be nice to be able to drop 400 bucks on a new shiny stove ! But then again , if I could afford it , I’d jump on one too ! Till then , it’ll have to be the old Coleman two burner . It’s stamped 1962 and still works fine , besides changing out the plunger gasket every ten years ! Cool video as always !
Ace, a good tip with mackerel is to get them ice cold prior to filet. And you can skin them or leave the skin on. The skin does have a little fish flavor, but I actually prefer it. Like eating salmon skin. If you are smoking them, the skin peels right off after it is smoked.
Florida is such an beautiful place. It's one of my favorite vacation spot. I have family that lived there. God really know what he was doing when he made that state. May God bless you
Awesome video! I really enjoyed this one as I was just there in September! Brought back some found memories of me and my brothers out on the beach catching lady fish right before sunset!
This is one of the most enjoyable channels because of your unique perspective your unique comments your unique video clips. It’s just incredibly entertaining and informative. You have a great style and a great personality don’t change a thing just keep on bringing us is amazing uplifting educating, funny stuff.!!!
I went to hit the subscribe button and I already was. So I'm going to look you up more regular. I enjoy listening and watching without having to explain the bad langResponsibility that may have overheard. That stuff is enough for me to quit watching. I've been here in Florida since 1975. I wish I could have been with you on that pier. The tips I could've given you, especially with the Spanish Mackerel. I was taught by a retired young man by the name of Orville. We did our fishing out on the Dunedin Causeway. I was 17, 18 years old fresh out of high school from Pennsylvania. For the most part my fishing was limited to the two week vacation that my grand parents and family would take to the Jersy shore onr year or the Pocono mountains the next. So I was like a kid in a candy store when I got here. I really enjoyed your video, it brought back memories. Yeh, leave the skin on. Mackerel is an oily fish. My Dad cooked them in a charcoal kettle grill. Wrap in aluminum foil. Little bit of milk, some butter and salt/pepper, maybe a few spices of your choice. No need to flip, skin down. Half the time closed alum, half time open up the foil. Throw the foil wrapped filet on a dinner plate, garnish with an ear of corn and start picking nice chunks of white meat with very little fish taste. I hated eating fish growing up until I ate that meal. I will tune in more often. One thing I enjoy more than anything else, is catching fish when it appears that there is nothing in the water. Then showing what I do to some young kid who's really interested in learning. No better feeling than watching a kid reel it a nice fish and realize you had in some small way something to do with his success! All those young kids you were around on the pier that day could have been out doing something else not as productive, maybe worse. They get to learn respect for the people around them, they learn how to help each other, respect for the fisherie and the different kinds of fish. Suddenly they aren't irrelevant anymore. The more they learn the more they have confidence. I'm rambling, but that's what fishing does to a man or boy. And maybe the most important thing is how to take care of things that you need to go fishing. Responsibilty.
You need a popping cork float with an inch and a half piece of an orange and white drinking straw for bait. 18 inch steel wire leader under the float is the right depth. Pop the cork several times wait 5 seconds, pop it again. You will be stunned at the action it causes. Spanish, Bonita, Pompano, Blue runners. All will take this bait.
I love fishing and rarely get to do it but I don't think I can fish next to that many people even though they all seem to be friendly and respectful. Enjoyed watching this.
Poppadoms are an accompaniment to curry. Generally as a starter with chilied onions or various spiced pickles. You’re first effort the oil was too hot or the spices discoloured it. Chilied onions can easily be made with…. Diced onions Chilli powder Mango chutney Ketchup Mint concentrate Method… Add the chilli powder to the diced onions and mix, in my opinion 1 teaspoon to each medium sized onion. Once the onions are fully coated / coloured add the mango chutney and mix again. Finally add the ketchup and mix to take the harshness of the chilli away. Mint is optional, again if you want to calm the spice. Southern India has a very fish based diet but is also known for spiciness. Instead of using your mix powder consider using or even better marinating it overnight in spices such as Kashmiri chilli, ground coriander, turmeric, cumin, and Garam masala, before quick frying.

Yeah but the kids dad is an idiot. Letting his son walk around barefoot... hooks, knives, fish guts or fish spines. Not a good idea to walk barefoot.
