This is the first ac game I have ever played, and its perfect because without the level up and gear upgrade system, what is there to go after the main story. All you would have is running around killing people for no purpose, and no reward. They are better with grinding.

The facts are I have never felt the need to beat in Assassin's Creed game until now
I'm taking my sweet time with the story mode. Don't mind it at all since I tend to explore more, get all my viewpoints synced, do some side quests, kill some enemies, go to Asgard for a bit and then focus on main story again. But I'm definitely enjoying the game.
Fr i’m 90 hours in almost and only just got to the end but now i’m 60 power lower than the last region

@@jacksonr5115 cause your not post to be in Asgard. Your post to be in east Anglia. You not post to touch Asgard till after the Winchester arc which is power level 220
@@austingarlan yeah I was following the Sigurd storyline and it put me into Asgard and I instantly died to the frost giants so I went back to east anglia and ended up working on alliances for the main storyline

Im such a dumbass, I haven’t done a single mystery in Valhalla because I thought they were useless side activities. Now I’m sitting at level 20 while I need to be level 90. Now I’m going back to Norway purely to go mystery’s *sigh*

This is exactly what I needed. I’ve been using the “ do all the side missions first” method my entire life. I never considered how inefficient that is in modern rpgs
Maybe ineffecient, but what's the rush? Im downloading right as we speak and I intend to play it casually, adventurous and slow. I got a feeling this could become that magic feeling and not just something to pace through.
@@clausbjrklund6681 totally agree. I love to go through games slowly and explore everything. I will warn you AC Valhalla is a HUGE game. I’m still playing it, The problem I was having was that going through it so meticulously and trying to save the main story for last had me feeling like I was doing chores instead of playing a game. I did that with Origins and when I finished I felt like I enjoyed the game but “FINALLY” y’know.
Tried to do the same with Odyssey and said screw this I’m just gonna play Valhalla like I know I want to.
Another way to interpret the 'gem' of wisdom, why spend time going out to eat, order a McDonalds at home. 5 mins and done eating, why have an immersive experience at a Michelin Star restaurant. Depends on what you're looking for in a game. If you're enjoying the side missions and the game world is great, that's what creates jobs, ad-ons and longevity of the game. Gamers are their own worst enemies, do it quick like this... (1 year later the game is canned and the exec board says okay, we now need 20 hours gameplay max and limited world gameplay). Why develop immersive games, we'll give you drivel plots and pointless gameplay and still take your 100 bucks for the collectors edition :p
@@AndHePlaysDrums And WITHOUT ANY REPLAYABILITY WHATSOEVER due to the lack of a new game plus as its two predecessors have. Once the game is completed you can't enjoy any fruit of your labors, you'll have to start the hyper-grinding again from scratch and nobody wants that.
This is about what I did, I got to 200 before I even started playing the story. I got to 430 before finishing the game. And I think it’s a lot more fun playing the game to lvl skill points instead of a glitch. Yes, it is super easy to get distracted lol. Thanks for the video.
Max power is 400 you get mastery points after that but you go no further than 400

I'm at power lvl 400 now with 11 mastery points in each section.
I've also unlocked every armor set all the animus anomalies and I have every weapon you can get through wealth opertunities, and of course the legendary weapons. I think I just might be addicted...

it helps that with a half decent build and good runes you can tear through content thats like 50-80 power levels ahead of you

I normally get pretty bored with open world RPG's because I do so many things before really getting into the story. I've always played like this and I have countless games that I've actually left unfinished directly due to this. So I think for Valhalla, I'm going to mainly play story line first with some Mysteries and other things here and there and see how it goes.
Before you start any main mission complete all the smalls maps such as Norway and do as many side missions you can, I was making 12 skill points every 20minuts my level 300 plus right now still not done with the game

Why worry about fast lvl up?
This game is GREAT even with all the bugs/glitches.
If you want to enjoy the game and not be killed fast, just explore most territories and make sure you have chain assassination and synchronize the fast travel as you go. You will reach lvl 200 in no time.
My problem is that I'd like to save the main story and clear the map of side mission, artifacts and everything else. Yet it still feels like leveling up takes soo much time. I'd also like to raid more often but my level is 90 something and the lowest raid level is 160. I like the level up system of Origins and Oddysee way better.
I agree with you I have assassin's creed origins and beat the game and played odyssey both had better level up systems all you had to do was side quest if I was you quit that game wait till the new game assassin's creed mirage comes out this year
Thank you bro, now I've only played for 40 hours and I haven't touched the main story in England. My first mistake was that I too enjoyed exploring the world map area according to my level and completing almost all the wealth, mystery, artifacts and even opal & iron ore that I could see in that area. After I watched this video, I realized that the fastest way to level up is first by opening all the syncpoints. My second mistake was that I played AC Origins & Odyssey the same way as my first. Wow I wasted a lot of time, haha.
I’m stuck at 270 after completing the prophecy storyline. How do I progress before getting near the 350 power stage?

Complete every raid you can, synchronize view points as, Codiak stated. Roam when you have time for but always having the next alliance lined up. I’m a causal gamer. I got the game for My bday 12-8, I play only 2-3 hours a day, and I’m at 251 level. I rarely do Reda missions bc they’re too repetitive and a waste of time in my opinion. And yes assassinate higher level enemies whenever possible.
The Zealots are easy once you level up around 100 or so. Then you gain diamond runes and XP for them
That last tip made me chuckle. At 160 hours I never rode a horse unless required by the mission. Eivor definitely got his steps in. ;-)

Agreed 100% I'm 35 and work 80 plus hours a week I don't have but maybe an hour or two if I'm lucky so I got to make them count. I actually bought this game when it came out in 2 years later I picked it back up and now finishing it
Great vid i know this is 2 years two late but still i would like to see more ac guides. Also you could reach max level before completing the main story but it will take awhile. You see i read on Google that it would take 141 hours or something to get 💯 percent with all wealth and mysterys. on ac valhalla however I got dlc i got 154 hours and guess what I still haven't progressed even halfway through the main story. also i am power level 438 and all that is because i did what you said but i didn't do much of the main story quests because i want to see how high i can get my settlement level and my character power level before completing the main storyline. However every once in awhile i would do some main quests to have some fun and take a break from grinding also i love the grinding as long as it's on the hardest difficulty!!!

I found the levelling system in this game the best of the series, it’s satisfying, fairly easy and smooth. It’s also rewarding with getting new abilities

@@captainstu literally all you had to do was go to a message board whenever you see one, select every big contract, and then play like normal. You go up by like a level every few minutes

@@captainstu no, it doesn’t. It literally takes zero farming to fast level. If you play with any degree of skill you’ll have a dozen contracts at once, and just playing the main quest will complete them

They should have more enemies closer together kind of like odyssey just for extra XP and to practice skills more🤔
Everything he said in this video answered my questions about RPG games there are many side quests and things that will distract you from the main game I found myself always wandering the map trying to find cool loot and forget about what I came for and ended up being hours into the game and barely progressing
That’s the trap of open world RPGs no doubt about that. If you have laser focus you can plow through the content, but honestly part of the fun is getting lost in the little moments along the way. Hope you’re enjoying the game!

Get Petras Arc, upgrade it and start doming enemies it's pretty fast xp one shotting everyone. O you also need the Raven perk to go fetch some arrows from the body

The builder was super annoying cause I was under leveled then went back to the main main story line and was super confused why it’s level was so low

I agree....for like the first 3 hours of the game. After that I'm done and I'm ready to initiate God Mode and just destroy any and everyone in my way.

For most of the game, I could just go from Story Mission to Story Mission without having to grind to Level Up. But after returning from Norway, there was a huge gap between the points I had and those I needed to start in Hampshire. (Something like 90 points) So I’m just doing a lot of slow grinding at the moment.

You don’t need to be the same level as the enemies etc. I went through level 350 enemies when I was lvl 60.
You could also either go to Asgard (Level 90 Zone) It takes around 10 hours to beat, or you could do the god mode glitch if you're that worried (Wouldn't recommend If you want to experience the game legitely).

I like to run around and complete all the side content in a new area before doing the main story. Its not the most efficient but its a single player game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The thing is, once the main story is over I'm probably not going to continue playing. This way i experience all the game has to offer. That said, im almost 100 hrs in and im just hitting lvl 100. which i take is the early-mid game?
I have more than time enough to play this game 100%. Why hurry, you can enjoy doing simple missions or fishing and hunting. I took me sometimes 3 hours to get a golden shrine metal. But afterwards you feel like you won the lottery :)
Oh, God, I remember raging so hard on one of the stupid bosses in Asgard, because the only weak spot was the back of his head and I couldn’t kill him but I could get him to one HP and then he 1 taps me I ended up deleting the game and never playing it again and today I finally redownloaded it
Idk the game suggests that getting the chests and stuff is what levels your power level up the best. And indeed by the time i got to england i was already between 33-55 area's as white
Play the game. Simple. Taking over my last alliance at the end of the game, I was power 250.... So basically just play the game and you will level up fast. Then after you finish, you can do all the side missions and finding things. 🤘

Hi, I just bought the game, and was wondering: is there any relation between your powerlevel and your weapons? What I mean is, for instance, of I reach powerlevel 260, and I buy a 2-h sword in a starting area in England, will that sword be strong enough to suit my level?

I got 78 hrs playing and set the game to hardest and I'm still at chapter 3
good guide but the fact is you can find eveything you want to find without doing viewpoints or maps etc. Simply find exactly which armour and gear you want and then go for the story missions.

I pratically just started the game since I've only made allies with 2 or 3 king's in England, and my Settlement is already level 5, and my character is power level 120, it's all about grinding lol, there's no "how to reach level 400 in 5 minutes" method, so once I start getting back into the story, my enemy's are gonna be a piece of cake since I'm fighting guys that are power level 160+ while the story enemies at my current point are like 50
Stuck at "upgrade your settlement to level 3" next raid I can do is 190 power. I'm a 36

So I thought that doing Asgard missions were the main story, and that there was no way to return to the normal world unless I finished all the missions. So there I was with a level 50 character fighting in a lvl 90+
It might also help that each power level is merely a *suggestion*, as I was only level 120 yet handling my own against level 190 opponents! So don’t fret if you can’t get to 400 or it is taking too long...
Can you do the same on drengr difficulty?
Steps for those who really need to upgrade quickly.
1. Download/Redownload the game without the updates.
2. Play the main story until you get to England.
3. Find an orlog player and challenge him. After you coose heads or tails, press the map button and fast travel somewhere on the map. This will make you invisible to enemies and you can assassinate them easily.
4. Find the WILDCATS OF THE WEALD in Hamtunscire (bottom left corner of map)
5. ONLY KILL THE BIG ONE to receive a Level Up point. Do not kill the small one.
6. Leave the area and then return to find the big cat has also returned.
7. Continue killing the big cat for as many level up points as you deem necessary.
* Use the invisibility to garner whatever materials or kills you'd like. You can exit the invisibility exploit but finding an Orlog player and forfeiting a match with him and then restarting the game. Once you've used this exploit as much as you'd like, you can then update the game. *
But there's an issue, I'm on xbox. and u cant download the game without the updates
What you are talking about, if you are on Ubisoft Game Launcher it will not let you play without updating it.

You know what I love the vid I watched it a few times, but well you see I keep searching everywhere on and off youtube for one reason. And well that reason is because I still haven't got my one and only question answered!!! I am looking for a solid answer, but before that, I will say this, I already know how to level up, I have done it over and over again. However this will be the very first time I use my own method. Now my question is a simple one and I know for a fact that if you are a true fan of assassin's creed valhalla or even a player who completed the game at least two times then you my wonderful friends and youtubers have my answer. All I want to hear and know is as simple as being killed from the most annoying suicidal enemy in the game the fire bomb thrower so is it possible to get to max level without completing the main story???? That is my only question, my only want, my only desire to know ok!!!!
Now here's another thing I read that it only takes 141 hours to complete the game at 💯percent however I have been playing up to now 150 hours I am power level 422 I now only need 113 more skills to get to max power but I barely did anything for the main storyline therefore I don't understand why nobody is asking what I am I love assassin's creed valhalla and every other creed game but nobody has ever asked my question nor answered it!!!! I passively leveled myself up early accidentally because I am kinda a completionist and I forgot where I was in the Main story, I continued to side quest that pushed me into new areas and completed mostly all mysteries, artifacts, treasures there and eventually returned to the main quests and I was ridiculously over leveled 😂 I was running around high level with shit gear killing everything 😂😂

hate to admit this but i have played ac2, ac3, acIV, unity, syndicate, liberation, origins, valhalla but i think ive only beat ac3(i was 7 when i played it so i dont know fs if i did) so im trying to finish the ezio trilogy but i picked up valhalla and its so addicting. I do want to go back and beat all the games i own as im almost done with ac2 then i'll do revelations and brother hood, then 3, then black flag. love all the games but ac3 is my fav. i dont want the games to end thats why i never finish them i feel.

Man leveling up to 280 is hard as hell. I plan to play it again but getting to level 280 power level on a 23 power level is too damn time consuming. It's almost like you have to play for 2 years to get level 280. I played against the villains on the campaign board, all it took was 2 hits and I'm dead. I have to hit them 15 to 20 times to kill them.
The reason you now have to grind and get levels in these games is because everyone wants open world games now and you have to have some way to balance it out or else you end up with one of those level as you games where the enemies level with you (not fun) or the game is too easy. Making the player have to take time to level up also makes you get better at the game and feel like you've gotten better when you can finally beat certain enemies. It's either that or make every game like dark souls lol
thas what many are saying to focus on the Mani story, maybe so in ACV may of been different on other versions of AC
