Hori7on isn't just the 7 members. It's the whole team behind them and the filipino and korean sponsors/management so this whole approach is very well thought of I believe. I think these days people are so obsessed with "labels". Music is music lol. I think it's a solid marketing strategy to include korean lyrics into the song since they are debuting/promoting in Korea. I think Filipinos pride themselves in their ability to blend into different cultures/places. Hori7on is a great example of that imo. They really deserve the support because of their hardwork!
Buti nalang Korean-English ang debut song nila kasi yung ibang GPOP group na nag-perform kanina sa music shows were bashed by Knetz and questioned why they're in a Korean music show. It's a good move for MLD Entertainment to gain Korean fans since they will now be based in SK. If they sang our language, I don't think they will be received well as most Koreans are not familiar with our language. They're also a rookie in a foreign country that's why they need to adapt to Korean culture first and gain their support before they can slowly introduce our culture.
To put it simply po, HORI7ON is trying to pave their own path for the global stage!!!
Firstly, they have to penetrate the Korean market, hence, the Korean lyrics in this song. They are promoting in Korea, and like other nations, appreciated ng locals if you can speak even a little of their language. So the title track had to be made that way. Most of their songs in the album are still in English and Filipino though.
Once established, eventually ang goal talaga is the global market. That I believe is the direction for most entertainment agencies. And knowing Filipinos who have the better grasp of the English language, we have the advantage here. Even our local artists go abroad to have concerts. Hori7on is also set to perform in South America this August. That's a step closer na to the goal.
Sana lang, we try to support the boys since they are raising our flag din naman abroad. Also, music has no bounds! So let's not limit artists on what they can be. Peace out po! 😊
They are managed by a Korean company so it's normal.. their approach is global pop. Pls check all their songs in the album kase may Filipino songs din sila 😊
As for me, may Korean yung song nila kasi ito yung debut song nila sa Korea, para marami silang mahatak na knetz fans. But yung album nila ang daming songs dun na in Filipino 😊 they even have a song called Mama in pure Filipino dedicated to all moms ❤

Mixed naman yung album nila may Filipino,English and Korean mas mdami yung Filipino. Pambungad lang ang korean sa debut nila kasi unang sabak nila sa korea and effective naman kasi gusto din sila ng mga Koreans, may mga fans na din sila kahit paano sa korea, and pwede silang mag English naman kapag pumunta sila sa ibat ibang bansa,at pwedeng mixed kapag may concert sila sa pinas kasi transparent tayong mga pinoy kasi mahilig tayo sa kpop and foreigners.

Pero yun ibang lyrics kasi nila pag naka english na sana lang aayusin pa rin kasi at least kahit man lang yun parts na naiintindihan ng foreigners eh magkakaroon ng sense.😅 Kumbaga pag naka korean lyrics, follow korean grammar tapos pag english lyrics na, follow english grammar naman. Sa Chinese songs kasi nasusunod naman nila yan. Once na may English lyrics included sa song, nakasunod din siya sa english grammar. Sa Chinese kasi minsan may instances na same sa english grammar tapos may iba naman na nakabaliktad din.

Filipino Members but they're being tagged by all of the shows there as K-pop. Much better they tagged them as Global Pop group instead of promoting them as K-pop idols. Ironic to lang kasi and misleading sa viewers. Tapos sasabihin na P-pop group pinapakilala dito sa pinas pero K-pop ang plugging ng agency nila. Na discredit bigla ang pagiging pinoy at p-pop. We understand they are managed by korean company pero plugging the idols that way and discrediting our boys sana man lang wag nilang iplug at itag na mga kpop idol but global pop group. Mas katanggap tanggap kesa tinanggalan nila pagka pinoy ng mga idols at genre ng p-pop kasi nga naman pinoy ang talents nila. Hopefully maging fair sila. Talents mo Pinoy pero pagpapa plug at tagging ay Kpop ng mga TV networks dun. Im not being negative masaya ako para sa mga bois natin, kaso sana maging fair sila satin. Promote na promote pa ang pagiging kpop kesa p-pop. Mas mainam iplug sa mga TV screens dun as Global Pop Group at mas acceptable pa yun. Just my POV only.

Ang tanong kasi dyan Kpop ba mga memebers? Collaboration pero pinaplug as kpop idols sa mga TV? san ang collaboration dun. Its a matter how you present your talents and misleading. Promote them as Global pop group not as specific and tagging them as kpop group. The management is removing their identity as Filipino but letting them portray it into something is misleading. Nawawalan ng sariling identity ang boys natin. Ang POV ko lang dyan introduced them to the global scene as Global pop group para generic not like what they're doing plugging our boys as kpop idols. Where in the first place they are not Koreans. Parang kulang nalang sabihin nila na nakakahiyang maging pinoy kaya let the world know they are kpop idols and credits will still be ours not to Philippines. Tapos sasabihin na Ppop rin sila? Di naman tawag sa kanila as Korean-Pinoy Pop idol group. Promoting them as generic is way much better para both sides will benefit on it.

Wala namang kaibahan ang Kpop at Ppop. Sa totoo lang, copycat rin lang naman ng Kpop ang Ppop, may singing, rapping and dancing so there's no difference. Ang Ppop may English and Pilipino. Ang Hori7on ganon din. Kaibahan lang may Korean din sila kumbaga mas versatile sila kasi based sila sa Korea. Para lang silang OFW. Baka in the future kakanta rin sila ng Spanish.
