Hi people. You all must not know the true story of Ben and JG. But I don't have time to tell it again right now. JG is not that sweet innocent-looking girl you all think she is and she did a lot of dirt to get and keep Ben or should I say trap Ben. But it didn't work!!! He is where he rightfully needs to be. He was very unhappy with JG. She tried to manipulate things to her favor but it still didn't work out for her advantage. Not all those kids were conceived in love; maybe not even one. But they are loved now regardless of how they got here. She's not beautiful when you look at her inside (integrity). She played a dirty game and it fell apart. Ben isn't going to "out her" publicly on account of the kids but she did tell Diane Sawyer that she never really had a marriage because she didn't and it was her fault doing all she did instead of getting out before she had any more kids after the first one. The one thing of noticed in a lot of these vids and the paparazzi vids/pics, you still see Ben and Jen laughing a lot and being cozy with one another. This meant hurting anyone and making a broken home for the kids. He did not love JG. She got pregnant three months into their new relationship trying to trap him and keep him from going back to J-Lo.. He married JG to give his illegitimate child a good name. She fell in love with him while filming Daredevil. She was all up in his face during the roundtable preview about the film while married to some guy (can't remember name). She had also been messing with Michael Vartan before she set her sights on Ben. He was encouraged to date her. Him loving her was a made up statement for breaking up with J-Lo. Apparently, he was being groomed for a political career. He broke up with J-Lo because he was told that she wasn't good enough for him and not good for his career. Back then I was surprised to hear about their divorce. When afterwards Ben said in the Diane Sawyer interview that the divorce was his biggest regret, it made sense coming from someone, who had defeated alcoholism - with the substantial help of Garner - and perhaps started to see more clearly, realizing the love and support around him despite everything. Later it surprised me even more when he said in the interview with Howard Stern that he felt trapped in his marriage. It seemed to completely contradict his earlier comments, and did not make sense because, after all, she had helped him even after their divorce. Well, in any case, I hope both of them feel good about their lives now.
I feel the same way Ava but being from Boston it’s crazy how many alcoholics are here. I wonder if he felt trapped because he had fallen back into his addictions? He also had a gambling addiction and was banned from many casinos. I can see that because I helped my husband with his alcohol and cigarette addiction and then he turned to gambling and then stock’s. It’s a difficult life to live because they have to replace the addiction with something or someone. Sadly I don’t see his marriage to JLO lasting long because she stated what brought them together was their childhood and similarities on how they were raised which usually means they are most likely trauma bonded ( in the spiritual world sense) and when everyone around them doesn’t see it lasting and yet they already tried once??? I’m not so sure they aren’t gravitating back towards each other due to their own trauma they need to work on, like abandonment issues or self esteem etc. It’s sad how some people tend to get better from a strong woman building them up and then move on to another woman. I wish them all the best but really feel for his kids and ex more than anyone.

What you wrote about some men moving on from strong women, I wonder if that has something to do with them being too competitive - i.e. even against their own spouses. Aren't there quite a few famous marriages that have ended soon after either one got suddenly really famous? So, if a man finds himself somehow having or being less - even if the woman wouldn't see it that way at all - he cannot take it. The thing is, relationships are meant to be based on respect and affection - not turning shared time into rivalry. When one could be making an ally, they're treating them as enemies. For it to not be this way, self-confidence would be in demand for these men - just as you also wrote about self-esteem issues.
@@Aavaify I agree with you Ava and also realize that many women that marry men that are alcoholics tend to come from dads who are alcoholics. My ex was a famous football player and is still an alcoholic. I think some of us get involved with them trying to “ save” them because we look at our dads and know we weren’t able to? I’m only speaking for myself. I really wish more women were like you and I where we can comment and have opinions without breaking each other down. I’ve seen so much of that over this past year but also I’ve been through the most difficult time in my life, so I’m more sensitive. My mother was killed by hospital staff last August. She had to let him go in order for him to grow and sadly he ended up going backwards and he still has a long road ahead of him. I’ve been with my husband 17yrs. It’s not easy but he isn’t like my ex who was famous and making kids everywhere or on planes with Tom Brady ( although my ex played for the same team ). My ex knows Ben as well. I would never want that lifestyle ever again. I worked with a record label years ago and the lifestyle is difficult for families.

That's when the relationship may start to feel like a sacrifice rather than a partnership on an equal footing. Being at the very top certainly comes with its risks. One of them may be that if one is exceptionally successful and wealthy, it's difficult to find genuine friendships and support. So it seems like an option to keep distance just in case. Over time, it can grow into a facade, and this only adds to anxiety and loneliness. As a result, also those who actually _do_ care for the right reasons, may end up getting sidelined. They must see a lot of people come and go, each wanting to get their moment with these unique individuals. Sofia Vergara actually mentioned in an interview years back, that the thought of being with Joe gave her some concern originally, because women tend to throw themselves at him. Theirs is not a case of alcoholism, of course, but it goes to show what being exceptional can entail. As an ex-wife to this lifestyle around a sports star, you may have even witnessed this...? I could imagine that if anything like that is a normal day, such idolizing and attention can make some very reserved/uneasy and others behave irrationally. And if they get used to it from their early adulthood, that can become the baseline, or the normal, to them - just as you mentioned about falling back onto old ways. Trying to alleviate this general anxiety certainly can pave the way to find solace from easily-accessible sources - such as alcohol. After all, it is often even advertised as something, that cool people do.

Right, he was young g and lusting for jg and in 2013 he saw Jlo at the awards and knew he had made a mistake. Jg figured he was leaving her for Jlo because he told her in His drunken rage that she was the one who broke them up. She never signed the divorce papers for 3 years so he slept with the Nanny and JG covered that up and kept acting crazy until she freed him to finally go back to Jlo.

I think that their marriage didn't work because jennifer Gardner was next to perfection..a good mother, a caring wife who till the end tried hard to keep the couple together..helping Ben with his problems (alcohol and so many other things) ..Ben couldn't cope with that..I think he knew he was hurting her more and that she deserved better than him..Even after splitting, Jennifer was here for him. she took him to rehab and all. I think for someone like Ben, he needs a woman like his ex wife by his side even as a true and faithful friend. She brings him peace of mind. Of course, who am I to say who is best for him.. Of course. i would be really happy to see their relationship grow(Jlo and him) but as far as i know, for having shared the life of an alcoholic partner, the type of environment in which the person evolves is crucial. Mode Pause at least. for a certain period of time is important. i myself do not drink, smoke and try to have a healthy life as far as possible. I chose that life not only for myself but for my partner..You know the hardest thing is when you see all the efforts being done by the one you love and care about for being sober, just goes down to the drain . This is something that an alcoholic person and their family and friends need to understand. nobody saves anybody in an addiction. it is the addict who must make the decision every day. control and lack of control is not good. you have to find the middle point. If he falls back into these addictions, it is because of him. Jennifer Lopez may seem partying because she likes to dance and have fun but does not drink alcohol at all. It is good that he goes out to eat, on vacation, that he frees himself and that is the spirit he needs. Alcohol is part of life, it is socially accepted, Ben cannot be locked up at home, or only go to parks or work, just not to be in an environment that has alcohol, it is not healthy or logical. Garner is a good woman but trying to control everything makes it explode. The relationship she had with Garner reached a point of chaos and not only because of Ben, it was because of the 2. Now they are and will be parents for the rest of their lives, they must get along, that's all.

Hi people. You all must not know the true story of Ben and JG. But I don't have time to tell it again right now. JG is not that sweet innocent-looking girl you all think she is and she did a lot of dirt to get and keep Ben or should I say trap Ben. But it didn't work!!! He is where he rightfully needs to be. He was very unhappy with JG. She tried to manipulate things to her favor but it still didn't work out for her advantage. Not all those kids were conceived in love; maybe not even one. But they are loved now regardless of how they got here. She's not beautiful when you look at her inside (integrity). She played a dirty game and it fell apart. Ben isn't going to "out her" publicly on account of the kids but she did tell Diane Sawyer that she never really had a marriage because she didn't and it was her fault doing all she did instead of getting out before she had any more kids after the first one. She shouldn't have got pregnant three months into their new relationship knowing he really loved J-Lo. That's entrapment and the oldest game a woman can play on a man to know he will do the right thing to make sure his seed isn't illegitimate.

Hi, I respect your right to root for your favorite Bennifer 2.0 & wish them well. But for the sake of the children & in deference to this thing called family (they may be separated but they're still a family, both Ben & JG are doing their best to co-parent, right?), I hope people would stop bashing JG & speak ill of her. Ben did marry JG, had 3 kids with her (am sure JG didn't rape Ben each time) & stayed around for 10 years with JG until JG gave up on Ben's addictions. JG was a long suffering wife & her sacrifices should be honored by us women. As for JLo, let's hope she & Ben stay & grow old together and that Ben doesn't get involved again with some hot, pretty, young girl like Ana de Armas. People they divorced in 2018 and he started wearing the watch Jlo gave him. It's always been Jlo for Ben. It's always been Ben for Jlo. Life can be messy if we don't have the courage to follow our hearts. That's not the way he and Jlo looked at each other which is plain evident. JG was lying to herself about her and Ben. Someone said that every time he wanted out, she would get pregnant. But that could be gossip. However, I do believe that she saw signs that he didn't love her the way she wanted and needed regardless of the children. She should have had enough pride to move on before when they did. When they divorced in 2018, he started wearing the watch Jlo gave him. That was telling her and the world that he wanted her back. It's always been Jlo for Ben. It's always been Ben for Jlo. Sad for the kids but kids are resilient. They are better off not seeing him unhappy doing things to cause dissention between him and their mom JG as long as he stays in their lives. The worst thing people can do is stay in unhappy marriages for the children's sake when they grow up and leave home anyway. Divorce doesn't have to stop being present in children's lives nurturing them for constructive positive futures.

This meant hurting anyone and making a broken home for the kids. He did not love JG. She got pregnant three months into their new relationship trying to trap him and keep him from going back to J-Lo.. He married JG to give his illegitimate child a good name. She fell in love with him while filming Daredevil. She was all up in his face during the roundtable preview about the film while married to some guy (can't remember name). She had also been messing with Michael Vartan before she set her sights on Ben. He was encouraged to date her. Him loving her was a made up statement for breaking up with J-Lo. Apparently, he was being groomed for a political career. He broke up with J-Lo because he was told that she wasn't good enough for him and not good for his career. It was due to some racism which broke her heart and his too because he listened. He tried to leave JG for a number of years and everytime he was adamant about leaving, she got pregnant. He started drinking and then drinking heavily. After trying to make it for so long for the kids sake, he had an affair with the nanny to encourage her to break up. She still wouldn't, so he left in 2015 and got the divorce finalized in 2018. He said that he didn't see himself with this many kids at his age. This didn't mean he doesn't love his kids but that he wasn't trying to have that many kids with JG. After the divorce became final, he started wearing the watch J-Lo bought him. She wasn't free so he was by himself for a while getting sober and then dated two people while he and J-Lo started communicating off and on (friend-zone) throughout the years. But when his last relationship failed in January 2021, he went back to try to get J-Lo back and this is where we are at now. People hear what they want to hear or because they aren't accurately listening. He's had plenty of times over the years to get back with JG but he didn't because he never really wanted to be with her from the beginning. He thought he would get over J-Lo listening to people early in his career but leaving her proved to be his biggest mistake costing her and him a great deal of pain. This is why they are back together. He faced up to his feelings and let her know exactly how he felt and wanted her back for a serious relationship and second chance at love. I feel like a broken record and can't understand how you people keep missing the real truth. JG tried to manipulate her happiness and found out that she couldn't make the man love her. She told Diane Sawyer that she never really had a marriage. She didn't because he didn't love her the way she wanted to be loved. Why would he after all the canniving things she was doing to manipulate things. That sweet innocent-looking girl who is not so innocent but a diabolical you know what. The long suffering wife who drove a man to drink trying to force him to stay with her. She was supposed to help him stop drinking for the kids sake to have a sober father. Her manipulation didn't work and now he is finally back with the love of his life. The girl who wasn't good enough for him that is a mega-star now. The one person who made him feel over-the-moon because she is the right person for him that many times only come once in a lifetime!!! The lesson learned here is to never let anyone talk you out of true love especially if it is the love of your life!!!

Back then I was surprised to hear about their divorce. When afterwards Ben said in the Diane Sawyer interview that the divorce was his biggest regret, it made sense coming from someone, who had defeated alcoholism - with the substantial help of Garner - and perhaps started to see more clearly, realizing the love and support around him despite everything. Later it surprised me even more when he said in the interview with Howard Stern that he felt trapped in his marriage. It seemed to completely contradict his earlier comments, and did not make sense because, after all, she had helped him even after their divorce. Well, in any case, I hope both of them feel good about their lives now.
I feel the same way Ava but being from Boston it’s crazy how many alcoholics are here. I wonder if he felt trapped because he had fallen back into his addictions? He also had a gambling addiction and was banned from many casinos. I can see that because I helped my husband with his alcohol and cigarette addiction and then he turned to gambling and then stock’s. It’s a difficult life to live because they have to replace the addiction with something or someone. Sadly I don’t see his marriage to JLO lasting long because she stated what brought them together was their childhood and similarities on how they were raised which usually means they are most likely trauma bonded ( in the spiritual world sense) and when everyone around them doesn’t see it lasting and yet they already tried once??? I’m not so sure they aren’t gravitating back towards each other due to their own trauma they need to work on, like abandonment issues or self esteem etc. It’s sad how some people tend to get better from a strong woman building them up and then move on to another woman. I wish them all the best but really feel for his kids and ex more than anyone.

What you wrote about some men moving on from strong women, I wonder if that has something to do with them being too competitive - i.e. even against their own spouses. Aren't there quite a few famous marriages that have ended soon after either one got suddenly really famous? So, if a man finds himself somehow having or being less - even if the woman wouldn't see it that way at all - he cannot take it. The thing is, relationships are meant to be based on respect and affection - not turning shared time into rivalry. When one could be making an ally, they're treating them as enemies. For it to not be this way, self-confidence would be in demand for these men - just as you also wrote about self-esteem issues.
@@Aavaify I agree with you Ava and also realize that many women that marry men that are alcoholics tend to come from dads who are alcoholics. My ex was a famous football player and is still an alcoholic. I think some of us get involved with them trying to “ save” them because we look at our dads and know we weren’t able to? I’m only speaking for myself. I really wish more women were like you and I where we can comment and have opinions without breaking each other down. I’ve seen so much of that over this past year but also I’ve been through the most difficult time in my life, so I’m more sensitive. My mother was killed by hospital staff last August. I started a petition change.org/JusticeforCarolSmith or you can Google Carol Smith Sturdy Hospital to see the news. Sadly her case is still sitting on a district attorney desk. I’m always advocating for others and have been like that my entire life. I hope my mom’s story saves someone else from being abused and killed. I believe that’s why I stayed so long with my husband because I advocated for him and he is my best friend. I really believe Ben will eventually end up back with his ex. She had to let him go in order for him to grow and sadly he ended up going backwards and he still has a long road ahead of him. I’ve been with my husband 17yrs. It’s not easy but he isn’t like my ex who was famous and making kids everywhere or on planes with Tom Brady ( although my ex played for the same team ). My ex knows Ben as well. I would never want that lifestyle ever again. I worked with a record label years ago and the lifestyle is difficult for families.

About alcoholism: you definitely make sense. What you wrote about wanting to help an alcoholic is more than natural and admirable. Successful recovery, although usually takes time, certainly does happen! The downside is, that in an intimate relationship setting, battling addiction tends to set the relationship's balance off: the needs of the addict easily override any other needs. That's when the relationship may start to feel like a sacrifice rather than a partnership on an equal footing.
Being at the very top certainly comes with its risks. One of them may be that if one is exceptionally successful and wealthy, it's difficult to find genuine friendships and support. So it seems like an option to keep distance just in case. Over time, it can grow into a facade, and this only adds to anxiety and loneliness. As a result, also those who actually _do_ care for the right reasons, may end up getting sidelined.
They must see a lot of people come and go, each wanting to get their moment with these unique individuals. Sofia Vergara actually mentioned in an interview years back, that the thought of being with Joe gave her some concern originally, because women tend to throw themselves at him. Theirs is not a case of alcoholism, of course, but it goes to show what being exceptional can entail. As an ex-wife to this lifestyle around a sports star, you may have even witnessed this...? I could imagine that if anything like that is a normal day, such idolizing and attention can make some very reserved/uneasy and others behave irrationally. And if they get used to it from their early adulthood, that can become the baseline, or the normal, to them - just as you mentioned about falling back onto old ways.
Trying to alleviate this general anxiety certainly can pave the way to find solace from easily-accessible sources - such as alcohol. After all, it is often even advertised as something, that cool people do.

Wow everything you say is so on point and exactly how it is and YES I had many fake friends over the years that used me until I didn’t want to be in that lifestyle anymore. Alcohol addiction is a life long battle but you’re right, my needs have taken a backseat many times. Right, he was young g and lusting for jg and in 2013 he saw Jlo at the awards and knew he had made a mistake. Jg figured he was leaving her for Jlo because he told her in His drunken rage that she was the one who broke them up. She never signed the divorce papers for 3 years so he slept with the Nanny and JG covered that up and kept acting crazy until she freed him to finally go back to Jlo.

I think that their marriage didn't work because jennifer Gardner was next to perfection..a good mother, a caring wife who till the end tried hard to keep the couple together..helping Ben with his problems (alcohol and so many other things) ..Ben couldn't cope with that..I think he knew he was hurting her more and that she deserved better than him..Even after splitting, Jennifer was here for him. she took him to rehab and all. I think for someone like Ben, he needs a woman like his ex wife by his side even as a true and faithful friend. She brings him peace of mind. Of course, who am I to say who is best for him.. He might be really in love with JLo and that from day One. I do not have anything against Jlo..but the kind of life she has is wooow..that is my personal opinion..I just hope that the renew couple will last..and Ben is able to keep paste with Jlo's stamina and party vibes..Ben has been doing well so far..it will be very sad to see him with that swollen face again. Ben needs Jennifer Lopez's lifestyle especially her spirit and good vibes. she does not drink, does not smoke, does not take drugs, she exercises, eats healthy and is very, very happy every day of her life, dances and enjoys. She works passionately on her work projects and doesn't stop for a single day, and she leads the lifestyle she deserves from working so hard. she is not depressive, controlling, perfect, boring and repressed. all those qualifiers is ben affleck who try to lead a perfect and normal life when he and garner are 2 celebrities who live like my neighbor. who happens to live on a public street? with paparazzi all day capturing the moment of rehab? Why not move to a house with a private street, live, spend the money on travel? why so long they lived a perfect couple's life when it was obviously the internal struggles over so much control and repression, that what it does is cause an explosion. in this video the only one who laughs is garner, ben laughs in 3 photos out of 20. if ben lasts 6 days or 6 months or 6 years with Lopez it will be fine. people sometimes spend 20 years being unhappy and 5 minutes being happy, that's life.
@@tina8124 I do respect your opinion on that and as i have clearly stated i am not THE PERSON to say who Ben needs to be with. Of course. i would be really happy to see their relationship grow(Jlo and him) but as far as i know, for having shared the life of an alcoholic partner, the type of environment in which the person evolves is crucial. Mode Pause at least. for a certain period of time is important. i myself do not drink, smoke and try to have a healthy life as far as possible. I chose that life not only for myself but for my partner..You know the hardest thing is when you see all the efforts being done by the one you love and care about for being sober, just goes down to the drain . It was a really painful experience especially knowing that i tried everything possible to save him. It was not about controlling his life, i was just worried about him. The thing is, we are no longer together, but he still calls me when he wants to talk and he says that it does him good. Sorry, all of that debate only to say that i can somehow understand the kind of relationship Ben has with Jennifer Gardner.

This is something that an alcoholic person and their family and friends need to understand. nobody saves anybody in an addiction. it is the addict who must make the decision every day. control and lack of control is not good. you have to find the middle point. If he falls back into these addictions, it is because of him. Jennifer Lopez may seem partying because she likes to dance and have fun but does not drink alcohol at all. It is good that he goes out to eat, on vacation, that he frees himself and that is the spirit he needs. Alcohol is part of life, it is socially accepted, Ben cannot be locked up at home, or only go to parks or work, just not to be in an environment that has alcohol, it is not healthy or logical. Garner is a good woman but trying to control everything makes it explode. The relationship she had with Garner reached a point of chaos and not only because of Ben, it was because of the 2. Now they are and will be parents for the rest of their lives, they must get along, that's all.
