I love the 2020 Dodge Challenger RT it's very nice and sexy! My cousin has a 2015 Dodge charger, I'm going to a special program that teach people with disabilities how to drive in one mouth please pray that I pass all of the test! I have cerebral palsy I use a walker and wheelchair
Great review! Love the Challenger, going all the way back to the early 1970’s. Dodge definitely knows how to make some fine cars, especially those available now.
Whenever I see someone leaving the yellow spoiler guard on after the car is delivered, it makes me think of the elderly lady who has a new sofa delivered and then leaves the plastic wrap on it that the movers wrapped it in for the truck ride over.
This isnt his car. It's a dealer's car still and it's good that the dealers leave them on because guess what? Some people get the car shipped to them I had my Charger shipped to me and i had my 2020 challenger shipped to me. The guards are important.
I just bought a 2021 three weeks ago in Go Mango. My son works at the dealership where I bought it. We had a laugh about the guard on the splitter because the shop manager was getting the car ready for pick up, and he asked “Man are you sure he wants that stripe off there?” They received a Whiteknuckle Charger in and it was on the showroom with a hot pink guard still on the car! This baby is a rocket!!
Probably the best review I've seen on this car. Don't know much about you or your other videos, but you seem to be a "regular" guy who just appreciates cars, and gives honest opinion and commentary without bias or arrogance. Some reviewers pretend to know more about cars than they actually do (self-claimed experts) or compare the car they are reviewing to one they own/drive... which usually results in negative comments about the car they are reviewing. Keep up the good work, I will look for other reviews you may have made.
I like the styling in the car and very much favors the 70 thru 74 Dodge Challengers. I have a 2022 dodge challenger RT scat pack widebody I love my car great review the only criticism I have is it doesn’t have LED headlights and has H ID.
I don’t know if you kept it in street mode during your test drive or not but the car has active exhaust valves and when you put it in track mode it opens them up all the way and makes the car really loud. You should try it if you haven’t. Great video btw
I live in GA and drove all the way to the Benson dealership today and got the white widebody scat with ruby red interior that was in the showroom! Thats nuts that I stumbled across this vid. The sales people at Benson were great. Im loving the car, but I wish the exhaust was a bit louder. Just personal preference really. This thing handles a lot better than my 2015 Scat did.
Well the plan was to trade in my SRT392 today for the widebody in destroyer gray. No such luck. With the dodge factories closed for at least a few weeks longer, the only way to get this car is on the secondary market.
We have a 2018. I bought the Hellcat intake, which is just basically a replacement for the lower part of the filter housing that has the opening cutout in front and a tube that leads to the inner headlight opening. The caps pop out easily on both sides. I'm using the Hellcat filter too because of the higher airflow. Easy install and have noticed much less intake heat due to the cooler air coming in from the front. Not a bad option for about $125.
Ive always thought the challenger, epically in orange or red, they look nice as hell but I could never afford it. Especially the hellcats and scat pack versions. But if I could even buy the base model that would be cool
Ok well, first you don’t need to lock the car to remote start it. You only need to click the remote start and it will automatically lock the car. Second you don’t press the button on the door handle to open it, that’s to lock it. You unlock it by having your fingers under the door handle with the keys in range .
Yes. Just keep in mind that it has cylinder deactivation so if you're going to be doing a lot of stop and go driving in town you won't get the best mileage. We've gotten as high as 30mpg on the highway on flat desert roads, but it averages about 14mpg on local runs, especially idling in drive-thrus. This is one car that would have benefited from an engine start/stop feature in an econo-mode. We have a Honda we drive in the snow, however, because it's helpless on slick roads. The AWD version is great if you're in a cold climate.
👍Nice review Bros FOURR, very informative. Just to let your subs know that Dodge is offering a cash rebate called the 2020 National Retail Consumer Cash 20CL1 (-$4850) on the 2020 Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody, so go ahead and order those "options" like the 8 speed auto trans and power sunroof, and still get the R/T Scat Pack Widebody for around that base price of $45K ($44,530 net price). What a great deal IMHO. 🇺🇲Stay well. Go in peace.
3/24/2020....just checked at the dealership site. It's still there....$48,000....that widebody is 9 grand more than a regular 2020 Scat pack (Auto) at the same dealership....that's a lot of money for flared fenders and wider tires. It's sharp but not 9,000 dollars more sharp. Hell no.
The widebody package add-on costs $6000 USD. If your dealer is saying $9000 then they are ripping you off. Also, the package is not just 305 tires, wider rims, and fender flares. It also adds stiffer front springs, the selectable SRT drive modes and electronically tuned suspension, and the 6-piston Brembo brakes with larger disks in the front and 4-piston Brembos in the rear. It also adds the Hellcat hood (with the heat extraction vents) and the Hellcat style front facia. Also, the front foglights are replaced with air ducts that cool the front brakes. The widebody package makes the 392 into a track-ready car. Also, the video said the air inlets in the front lights are functional but they are not connected from the factory. They are plugged at the rear of the tube instead of the front. It is easy to add a Hellcat airbox and duct to connect the driver's side inlet. I did it on mine. The other side is easy to open too but it just dumps into the engine bay and doesn't connect to anything. I added DIPS-VRRR screens from genpartsco to my inlets.
Ok but you don’t know if they’re staying in their lane. It just looked a bit casual to me, I’d be watching the oncoming traffic like a hawk if I’m in that car. Really enjoyed your review, I’m going to buy this car .. thanks
Absolutely premium, 91 octane or higher. We get our gas at Costco because it's less expensive and it runs great on it. Also keep in mind it absolutely requires full synthetic and 7 quarts of the stuff. You'll see all kinds of coupons from FCA about getting oil change packages for full synthetic but if you read the fine print it says "up to 5 quarts" so there may be an additional cost on these vehicles.
I totally agree! But for some people they want the cool car and may not be able to drive one or have a different need for it. I would get the manual all day!
This car is nice & all but I’m getting sick of the same old design that Chrysler dodge keep doing which is no big difference compare to the older Dodge Challengers like no offence
With the exception of the LED taillights and updated infotainment that came in the last refresh, Dodge really didn't need to change anything else. If it ain't broke, why fix it? The Challenger has been selling well since it returned so Dodge has kept it mostly unchanged for that reason. Their goal is to keep its resemblance close to the classic Challenger as much as possible. Its what makes it the only car on the streets that looks like a true muscle car nowadays.
Honestly, if Dodge had changed it too much, I don't think I would have bought my 2019. I love it exactly the way it is. I wanted one since 2008 but couldn't afford it. I just love the look and the features. I eventually bought a new 2012 Charger SXT-Plus and it was a great family car for 7 years. Never a problem with it. Frankly, the Charger design was more refined at the time. After the last refresh, the Challenger interior design greatly improved and the tail lights and electronics were also vastly improved. I could no longer resist the Challenger. After 11 years in production, it was still calling me. My kids all grown, I could finally ditch the 4-door. I traded in my Charger for a new 2019 RT Scatpack 392 widebody. Holy hell, do I love it !!! I'm always a little sad when I get home because I have to get out of it. Sometimes on nice days, I sit in a lawn chair with a drink and just sit there looking at it. It's so awesome. My wife makes fun of me saying "Talking to your girlfriend?" and I say "Yeah, she's a good listener."
Chrysler dodge has too start switching up their design with these muscle cars & these cars need stronger material cuz this has been the same shit for 5 years now even though I still like mopar SMH 🤦🏽♂️ 🤦🏽♂️ 🤦🏽♂️
I mean we know it's a beast but the inside is the same since forever so you might ass well to save you some time just say well the inside is still the same nothing new here to see!
If buying this car makes me a sucker, that's just fine with me. I'm very happy with, and proud of, and daily enjoying very much, my 2019 RT Scatpack 392 widebody. It has plenty of very advanced tech and is fast af and is a great daily cruiser. You obviously have no clue. Considering that it is also a best seller, then I guess there's a whole lot of misinformed misguided dumbass suckers running around out there. As for your pickup... any time, anywhere my friend.
Really like the widebody challengers. I like how dodge has kept their style the same and muscle car looking!

Good choice! Red really makes this car pop!
My dream car will be a reality this December! I can’t stop dreaming of it until then. Been saving up for years
Retro American muscle. Brings back memories of my 70 chevelle SS days.
The challenger is a beast!
Audio is much better now. Not clipping anymore. Great job guys!
It's weird, it sounded normal in my edit, but got it worked out!
Great review! Love the Challenger, going all the way back to the early 1970’s. Dodge definitely knows how to make some fine cars, especially those available now.
I like the wide Body on the challenger
Whenever I see someone leaving the yellow spoiler guard on after the car is delivered, it makes me think of the elderly lady who has a new sofa delivered and then leaves the plastic wrap on it that the movers wrapped it in for the truck ride over.
The dealers are supposed to remove those. It's their fault that this even became a controversy in the first place.
🤣🤣🤣

I appreciate the comment! That's what we focus on, just going over the car and what it has to offer! We have plenty of other reviews for sure!
this car is similar to the dodge charger, the difference is on the sides:there is 2 doors on the challenger,4 on the charger
Yeah it's basically a 2 door version of the Charger
honestly I'm 14 and when I'm 15 ima buy this car this helped allot thank you so much
Well dang, keep working hard! The Dodge Challenger is a sweet ride!

Chrysler got the engine done... now we need them to step up the exterior design and interior. Watch out German luxury.... Chrysler is on your six
