I got to see Joan live, less than year before she passed. One of the best nights of my life. She roasted me and my husband (we were literally in front of the stage) to death and I loved every second of it. She then ordered us some shots of vodka (we are Russian) and threw her hair extension at me. I of course keep it to this day.
They were both so quick-witted, these old ladies were able to come up with so many surprising, raunchy jokes on the spur of the moment. They were both so good at "thinking on their feet" when it came to comedy

Great clip, hilarious bit. She could have been a standup with her quick wits. I miss her.
She literally did- I actually have pondered a few times how she felt with the other major names of her time gone so long…there must have been a certain amount of gratefulness and even gentle pride, but also much sorrow. May she enjoy her new life with the Ancestors 🙏🏾💜
