Izuna Uchiha It seems that Ryu is her goal not exactly love. She's infatuated. I think she hopes to pass him but need him to train her. They give hints but I don't think they know where they want to go with her character. Personally she should start a rivalry with someone close to Ryu. Maybe Ryu does go all out and train her but she can't surpass Makoto and start a rivalry there. Personally I don't know but I don't like how they split the good and bad and they seem to always side with each other. Make it a little more personal between all the fighters and allow the bad guy to win once in a while. What about Juri? Love her idgaf attitude.
Richard Shiflett I thought Ryu had a love interest? I still think while she calls it love she is just infatuated. Could be a good story for her to turn on Ryu. Of course that's just me hoping that add some twist here.
They need to do another (canon) ANIME Street Fighter movie like "Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie" from the mid 90"s... with Sakura as a mayor character, of course...
I kinda wish SFV had went with into direction with Sakura where instead of a lame a job with a lame "I wanna settle down and be a wife" goal, she's a pro fighter who makes a living doing what she does best while managed and supported by her two best friends With how well Blanka is doing in 6, and how World Tour implies that Dan succeeded in spreading Saikyo-ryu, its only right that Sakura becomes famous too

After playing her story in SFV, I feel like she and Ryu are better off as friends. Sakura is much younger then him, and having this ship is both weird & gross at the same time. Personally, like most Street Fighter, I believe Ryu and Chun Li would make a fine pair. Of course we all know his only love is the fight but she is still fond of him.
They messed up the ages big time haha. Sakura's date of birth is 1981 yet shes 16 in alpha and ircc alpha takes place in 1988. Ryu is meant to be 24 at the time of alpha 2 which is still a bit of an age gap between him and sakura being 8 years. But if you go by both characters date of births the age gap is 17 years :S
This makes me mad because Sakura beat Zangief, I refuse to accept this! Also she even wears her school uniform to wrestling matches? Does she ever take it off?
