The Brilliant Idiots is a comedy podcast from the Loud Speakers Network featuring Charlamagne tha God, host of Power 105.1’s radio show, The Breakfast Club. Andrew Schulz is a world touring stand up comedian known for his work with MTV and
independently successful comedy projects, “4:4:1 - a comedy experience by Andrew Schulz” as well as “52 weeks of stand up.”
The Brilliant Idiots is a podcast just as unpredictable as its hosts. From power 105's hit radio show "The Breakfast Club" comes Charlamagne tha God and stand up comedy's rulebreaker, Andrew Schulz. From music, comedy, relationships, to pop culture, politics and current events, everything is on the table for analysis. But take what you hear with a grain of salt, because while their perspectives are often brilliant, they're liable to be idiotic too.

The difference here is that Schulz has recently got the bag and is thinking from a growing perspective. Chris Rock has been making that money for a long time now. He didn't really need to do this special financially... he is doing this for himself AND getting paid.

Chris messed up the Will smith bit on live he’s right about the pressure bit, everything was leading up to that moment and I have to say it was alight it wasn’t the haymaker everyone was hoping for it was tame compared to Chris rock standards.

  • @angelloro

Chris wanted this show to be like an MMA fight that can only be experienced live once. You may be able to see the highlights, the clips, later on, but the real LIVE experience you only get to see once. Plus, he knew people were super excited to see what he had to say, specially after the Will Smith incident. He just used it as an extra leverage on his already talented career. I think it was pretty brilliant, to be honest. I don’t think any other comedian has tried that before.

imagine being a GOAT like Chris f-ing Rock listening to a middle road (but definitely popular) comedian not on your level critique your format after you banked 40mil for doing it exactly how you did it...😅😅 the caucasity of Andrew. Like Rock is scared of "extra pressure"...lol...the nerve

Chris rock does NOT need stand up advice from Andrew Schultz.
Andrews stand up is frat boy comedy with slow punch lines you can see coming. His stand up is so lame.

Imo Chris went over on this. Every people in the world on his back, he once took it like a gentleman and his crazy friend.
Now in his special, he counter attacking Will really sounds like borderline whiny butthurt man. Of course he deserved to feel that, but there's another way to make it classy, elegant, and not out of pocket.

Cutting together 3 or 4 recorded shows, with irritating jump cuts, including naming of the venue cities, as he did in “shoot the messenger “…..that’s a gimmick and a tiresome one at that
