Your razor is a 1965 , 1st quarter ( Jan., Feb., March) Flair tip Superspeed. It is the regular version. The blue tip is the "light" version and the red tip is the "heavy" version. There are two versions from the 1940s...a regular silver handle and a black tip version made in 1950, 1951. The black tip had an aluminum handle. They are simple, classic iconic razors!! Thanks for the video!
You can tell it's a "Medium" by the flared tip. No color, just metal. The "Light" was Blue tipped and the "Heavy" was Red tipped. Same basic razor just different blade gaps. You should definitely seek out the other two. My Blue Tip with an aggressive blade is just effortless. And the Red Tip has a bulkier handle giving more weight to the razor.
Nice shave Rick. Can’t go wrong with a super speed! Soap sounds nice too.
Thank you if was a good shave even with the Nick's lol.
