    👀👍!
i have to agree on preferring cherry switches on either alu or cf for stiffer plates rather than on fr4.

It's nice to see someone agree with me on that sentiment! After trying Cherry on all the plate materials, it's clear why FR4 is so good with switches that underperform. It's powerful at introducing its own flavor and tone.

Agreed. These Vintage Blacks with the PP plate would go dummy. I am enjoying them with carbon fiber right now, though! 😄

tried mx browns on fr4 once and it sounded ass so i never touched it again. also whats the board on the right?

MX Blacks on FR4 somewhat passes, but MX Browns on FR4 sounds like a recipe for disaster LMFAO. The board on the right is my GOK 7V. I should have a sound test of it on the channel. Cheers fam!

i hate FR4, i have never managed to make a FR4 build sound good. it has this weird property that no matter what switches it tends to mute them quite a bit. like instead of resonating with the switch it completely absorbs the down stroke it that makes sense

It is undoubtedly one of the more complex materials that can work in a foamless configuration. I only found it to shine when it's used with foam. JWK also does well with it.
