Bought my first pack of gold leaf. Started watching videos. You are the 4th and so far the only one who.lists your supplies. And you get right into it you! Thank you.
Great video! I was wondering about the piece you showed under resin. Is there a chance for a tutorial of that piece of art including how you applied the resin? If not, would you mind leaving a description listing the main information needed? Lastly, do you sell your artwork and did you already sell the piece you showed? I've never asked anybody on here that question, but I was just struck instantly by how awesome it is. I absolutely love it! ✨🌸✨🌸✨🌸✨🌸✨🌸✨
So I have been told Elmer's glue could work also. But I'm a little confused with either one. You say let dry until tacky. How long is that? Or does it stay tacky even when fully dry overnight?
Hi, I haven't tried Elmer's glue, so I'm not sure, maybe try waiting 5 or 10 minutes and checking how it feels. You want the glue to still be a bit sticky but not totally wet, so I think leaving it overnight would be too long!
Hi, Stephen. That sounds like a good thing to try. I was wondering if you found masking tape too sticky if Washi tape would work? Of course depending on the type it might not be sticky enough. It's actually been a long time since I've used Masking tape, I usually use painters tape for crafting so maybe I'm picturing Masking tape as being more sticky than it is. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case you experiment with the tape. I'm also very curious to know the outcome. Have a great day/night!
Are those pieces you showed in the video on watercolor paper? Also is the painting you showed with the resin done on canvas? I love how it looked so thick like a piece of glass. I'd love to know, can you can get that look on cardstock, mixed media paper, or watercolor paper? 😃
Yes it´s a watercolor paper! The painting is done a wooden art board like all of my resin art! You could experiment with other surfaces but it needs to be a solid support otherwise it will warp or sag with the weight of the resin ( and the resin would soak through any thin porous materials like paper). But if you mount paper to a wooden board then it should work fine!
I love listening to you say, "Gold Leaf" 😅. It was a really helpfully video and thank you for the product suggestions. Is there any reason why this adhesive wouldn't work for applying gold leaf to a stained glass piece?
Thanks for your clear explanation of both methods! How much pebeo glue do you think you need for one pack of pebeo gold leaf? I'm going to order 3 packs, how many tubes do you think I need?
Because when you brush it off, it comes off in lots of small pieces that are hard to reuse! So it's just a way to be sparing with my gold leaf stash and make it last longer 😂

This tutorial was quite informative, thank you for keeping it short and simple.
Brilliant. Pebeo mixtion is clearly the way to go for amateur artists.
This is a great tutorial. Best one I've come acrossed
Very good tutorial. Clear instructions. I am going to try this with my grandsons. Think you have given me confidence to show them .
2:33 my cousin uses a make-up brush! it works so amazing but so does your paint brush! 💜
Thank you! Great video, actually the best I've seen.
Thank you! This tutorial was very helpful!
Just getting into gold leaf, and my first project (of course) has lost of small details. this was very helpful!

Thanks for the fine video. But where is the link to the glue 😊😊😊😊
Very nice. Thank you for sharing.
Love the first one… second, not so much, but your piece with the resin finish is mesmerizing !!!
😮😮😮
Thank you so much!
Thank you! Very helpful! I’d love to see a resin video!
Wonderful video, thank you so much!❤❤❤

Thanks for the demo! I am wondering if using cold wax medium would work to seal the gold leaf and protect it from tarnishing.
Hi, I'm afraid I'm not sure as I haven't used that before!

Beautiful!
Can you use liquitex gloss varnish if you used gold leaf on your canvas?
Is it okay to use varnish to seal off gold leaf? Thanks
Thank you for posting this video! To get a really crisp edge, can you use masking tape with the adhesive?
I haven't tried it myself but let me know if you give it a go!

Sorry for the delay! I think it would work well on glass, especially the mixtion relief one :)
Pouvez vous m en montrez d autres? Merci
Do you seal it? Use spray varnish?
There isn’t a link to the glue
Superbe!!!

Hmm I'm not sure but one tube normally lasts me months! If you're just doing linework like I've shown here it should last a while!
@@Coyasauce Okay thank you!
Have you tried using a liner brush for the sizing? It might make longer smoother lines depending on the length
😍😍😍
Why not put the entire sheet on rather than strips?
