      because he is inferring intellectual authority by demeaning a large crowd of people (from the earliest centuries of these writings) as not knowing Greek as well as himself in 2024 (That crio means "stung by a gadfly"). He has to do that, or one might believe him to be intellectually dishonest with himself and those he speaks to through the mic and camera.

    This is what they say in disdain, then you look in their lexicons and you can see well that they by vast majority want us to understand these words and terms from Diogenes, Aristotle ,Plutarch ,Homer, Plato, Diodorus etc. not Jewish sages and 2nd temple colloquialism.

    The anointing oil. Take the finest spices: of liquid myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, that is, two hundred and fifty, and of aromatic cane two hundred and fifty. (Exodus 30:23, RSV)
    The passage above lists the ingredients in the “holy anointing oil” that was to be used by the priests to anoint the tabernacle and the priesthood. This topic may be a little controversial, but I think it is an important one as a lot of people have asked me over the years if the Hebrew phrase קנה בשם (qaneh bosem, often spelled kaneh bosem), translated as “aromatic cane” in the verse above, is a Biblical Hebrew phrase for cannabis, also called marijuana or hemp.

      @@KoreshDabar-YHWHbenYisrael I just quoted truth it is the mainstream interpretation that is in error. By the way what's wrong with people getting stoned from a plant that God created and used for anointing? To accuse someone of a wrong doing is to express the Satanic nature., and I would ask that you do not try to lord it over people with this accusation of what you believe to be a sin. "Let they who have no sin cast the first stone"😎

      You cannot just assert the meaning of something because it makes you uncomfortable.
      My answer to that question is, I don't know and is unlikely to be a recreational drug. But I won't say it is definitely not a recreational drug.

    Or maybe meaning is alright - like the christ the one who awakened or tge one who will open ir is opening like inner eye or something. Anyway there were so many alterations to historical texts and noone who new the language back then to correctly translate . So all this trying to figure out thing is just a divination. Topic to discuss but we will never know for sure

    The man is disingenuous. He says Chrio is part of a tri-compound verb (to aplly ointment so as to open the eye from being stung by the gad flie.) If "gad flie" represents satan and stung represents "enslaved," then that one word is a universal primer describing The gospel of Jesus. Jesus came to open the eyes of the enslaved by satan.

      Only if you import eisagetical meaning into a text that doesn’t imply any of that… then sure, those terms could mean what you’re saying. But then again we have just as much evidence that “gadfly” represents ice cream and “stung” is a stand-in for obesity. So to be “stung by the gadfly” means to eat too much ice cream and get diabetes via one’s obesity… this would be just as linguistically legitimate.

    • @charlesco7413

  • @Borissh89
    @Borissh89 4 месяца назад

    Yeah, it's very stupid. The word Messiah and it's Hebrew origin משיח come from the same verb root מ.ש.ח. meaning, To Anoint, as you would anoint a king with oil, like the prophets done to the biblical Kings of Israel. This is because the Messiah-to-come, according to the Jewish faith, would be the king of the renewed Kingdom of Israel, and Jesus was, according to the Christian faith, the rightful King of the Jews. Hence, anointed.

    It’s the same kind of fallacy when someone wishes to argue against evolution by saying something like “if we’re from monkeys then why are there still monkeys”
    The medical meaning in classical Greek are related cousins to “Christ” “Anointed” but not the root origin.
    Often times when someone is brilliant in their narrow field, they try to import that knowledge into another and it’s not as compatible as they might think.

  • @MarcoTrading9393
    @MarcoTrading9393 4 месяца назад +1

    The ignorance is real, Christ spit on his hands and proceed to rub his spit in “blind” man eyes, to finally make him see again. In other words, he is applying drugs (which are on his system) through his saliva to provide “knowledge” and “open the eyes”

    • @WesHuff
      @WesHuff  4 месяца назад +2

      Still completely irrelevant to the linguistic fallacy regarding where the term “Christ” comes from. You do realize that we have at least 8 recorded accounts of Jesus healing blind men in the 4 Gospels and the only time he does it by the way you’ve described is the single instance in Matthew 8? Jesus never heals a blind person the same way twice.

    • @MarcoTrading9393

      @@WesHuff he twice does it with saliva in bethsaida and in john 9:12 aswell, also two blind men together specifing only by touching their eyes, and bartimaeus without any detail, based on this my statement is more true than false and the title Christ support this 100%
