Yeah I feel like they did a great job making this sound good to all types of MCR fans. There's a big difference between their albums but I can hear some of them all in it.

A year ago when this was released, I was going through heroin withdrawal, determined to get clean. I caved and used. And used for months more. Every time I did, “GET UP COWARD” would play in my head. I just lowered my methadone dose for the first time… on the anniversary of this song’s release. I couldn’t have achieved sobriety without it.

I know MCR will never see this, but if there was one thing I could let them know, I’d want them to know: my best friend Erika took her life 4 years ago and she and I were some of the most obnoxious MCR fans on the planet. It broke our hearts when we heard that the band broke up. Before COVID, I got tickets to honor her and get that experience that she and I never got. She would be losing her mind over all of this right now. It’s so bittersweet, but I’m glad to see them back again.

I missed your era, I’m 60 70's and 80's was my music. 90's-2005, I was all over the world in the USAF. Found MCR in 2009 when my wife died. I was in hell. This music was all i had. Saw you in Raleigh August 2022, was up close on the floor. Best concert in all of my 60 years.
my father was an MCR fan, ever since he was a teenager. He had all the shirts and music and showed me it all. He is no longer with us today, but I'm sure somewhere beyond our realm, he hears this music calling to him. Thank you Gerard, ray, Frank, Mikey, and many more for helping him through the many years.

I haven’t gotten to experience the feeling of listening to a My Chemical Romance song for the first time since I was a teenager. I’ve been a fan since 2005 and I’m 29 now…tears are in my eyes. I grew up with this band, and getting to see this song change everything for a whole new generations of fans is making me teary eyed. The first 30 seconds of this is reminiscent of Sleep, The Only Hope for Me is You, and Interlude - a quick sprint through three different eras of this band - and then the song becomes its own, bringing us into a new era of My Chemical Romance. I love it.

I know MCR will never see this, but if there was one thing I could let them know, I’d want them to know: my best friend Erika took her life 4 years ago and she and I were some of the most obnoxious MCR fans on the planet. It broke our hearts when we heard that the band broke up. Before COVID, I got tickets to honor her and get that experience that she and I never got. She would be losing her mind over all of this right now. It’s so bittersweet, but I’m glad to see them back again.

Always have and ways will. MCR will always be my favorite band.

The way you can pick out parts that are reminiscent of each previous album while also hearing the new things they learned as individuals that they've brought to this new MCR song is blowing my mind, and the song being released with so little fanfare while simultaneously being musically impressive and emotionally impactful? I grew up with this band, and getting to see this song change everything for a whole new generations of fans is making me teary eyed. Expectations were always high for anything MCR might release at this point, but you can see how much heart, blood, sweat, and tears went into this. So thankful

MCR really pushed me to step on a 5 hour train to Stockholm by myself after not being able to take public transport for 8+ years due to my panic attacks. Just to see them live. I don't regret it a single bit, but I never expected I could do something like that

Damn, I didn’t expect them to go so heavy with this song. I am pleasantly surprised. Love how lengthy it is as well, and the build up throughout this song is just perfect. No two parts of the song feel the same either which makes it just feel ever so special. I’m obsessed.

Somehow listening to that voice calms my head. Nothing can stop the pain in my head, meanwhile, I float on that voice. Thank you, you'll never know how much. The harmonies, that guitar is iconic. So comforting.
