the mini suite has a couch, larger desk/dresser, two TV's, and curtains to divide the room. it also has a bathtub.

It's crazy the balconies are small on the newer Princess ships . On the Ruby , Coral, Sapphire, And Diamond . On deck ten all the balconies are twice this size. Well glad you guys enjoyed your Cruise. We live in California and we are going on the Ruby Princess in October for the Seven day California Coastal. This will be our sixth cruise with Princess 😎
The elevator scene was hilarious. but you all are young enough to take the stairs. its also great to burn extra calories.
I was thinking the same. I avoid the elevators unless I am pushing my mom in her wheelchair.
virgen fj I'm young but don't take the stairs because I have bad knees, if I took stairs my knees would hurt for day! Pretty sure Amy has a knee problem from comments on previous videos
virgen fj I don't know if the Royal Princess is like this, but whenever I go on Princess Cruises, there seems to be a constant lack of a full staircase that goes from the top to bottom (as far as decks for guests). I always like to work off my buffet belly by taking the stairs, but with Princess I find that you usually have to take a few flights, walk to midship, walk a few more, go to the aft, take more stairs, etc. and it's often not worth the trouble. All in all, your point is well taken, and I highly recommend using the stairs whenever possible.

Hey guys - the third Royal Class ship was actually built for the British cruise line P&O and is called the Britannia (they had to get special permission from HM The Queen for the name and she actually christened her).
Anyway google P&O Britannia as outwardly she is the same as Royal & Regal but her interiors were designed by a world reknowned hotel design company called Richmond International and she is very different. She has a beautiful centrepeice in the atrium called 'Starburst'.
I was on her in 2015 for 7 days around the Norwegian Ffjords. She has 3 speciality dining rooms. The Limelight club is an entertainment venue where you pay about $25 to see a known act and have dinner. The Epicurian is a high brow fine dining venue for around $35 and for $20 you can eat in Sindhu, an indian restaurant where the food has been created by the michelin starred chef Atul Kutcher. I ate in them all and loved Limelight & Sindhu but found Epicurean just OK!

The elevator scene...hysterical!
We were on Regal Princess last November and urine sewage was leaking through the toilet onto the floor. A plumber had to fix it. We were surprised the steward didn't notice the smell before we did.
I don't know if you realise but at the point where they play the Love Boat theme at Port Everglades there is a webcam. I often watch from a wet & chilly UK to see ships leaving. The camera zooms in on the ship to show passengers waving etc. It's located on a hotel, the first of the taller buildings at the port exit. It's on PTZ tv webcams. Lots of ports and airports available. Maybe next time we could watch you wave 'live' as you depart! I watched the Tampa webcam as you sailed out recently but it's not in such a great position. It's my ambition to sail out of FLL. Happy sailing.

BTW, started on the Fathon Adonia vlogs yesterday. If I'd seen those last year, I'd probably booked a cruise on that ship instead of the Regal Princess.

If you want a couch and not a mini suite it's called a deluxe balcony I have a room tour posted a week ago from the Regal princess (royals sister ship) and they have a couch it's so nice!
We stayed in a mini suite last March and our balcony wasn't any bigger 🙁. It was a beautiful room though! If you guys ever go again you should try that out.
We will be on the Royal Ship March 30th. I can hardly wait. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
woo-hoo! proud of you Amy! I was afraid you were going to have an aniety attack when i saw the elevator being so crowded after the muster. I must admit, I'd probably have been close to one, as I'm very claustrophobic myself- but you did great, and you all, and some of the other passengers, made the elevator pretty funny. I try to see the funny, (sometimes absurdness) sides of situations myself..it always helps and usually turns into a great memory.The elevator situation and porthole man will always be a laugh when you guys think back on it. loved your, Elizabeth, Manara and Zar's magnets, sorry Dad was unable to come. I hope he has completely recovered. :) thanks for sharing

You dont have to take Mini-Suite to have a couch, you should just have taken deluxe balcony which also has couch!!

Has your family ever experienced anything scary on board any cruise ship, like very rough seas, anything of that nature? My husband and I are sailing on Carnivals Vista the 1st week of April this year. I am very excited as this will be a first cruise for both of us yet im a little scared that maybe a horrible storm might happen. I would love for our first cruise to be fun and uneventful.

I went on my first cruise and it was a balanced cruise and we had force 9-10 storms some nights! we were on a tiny 30,000 tonne ship too! it's amazing when it's rough seas, but that's cuz I don't really get seasick that much, only if it's REALLY bad. on my cruise last year the week before we came on the ship there were force 10-11 storms all week and everyone was getting seasick, now THAT'S not good

I am between Oasis of the Seas for 12/13/20 or Enchanted Princess 12/12/20. The crowd on Princess is definitely older. But, they seem nice and so does the crew. I love Navigator of the Seas, but the food could been better especially the pizza.

nicolahero: hello, so sorry to hear that. my heart goes out to you. it's hard to tell online, especially in the comments section on youtube, whether people are serious or just trolling. i sent up a prayer for you anyway, i know that God know's what i dont, and i felt i should answer your comment, if not for you, maybe someone else reading. prayer has always helped me, and i pray you get peace and comfort, and your depression lifts.
i hope you will please share with your dr , and or family how you are feeling depressed and sad, and hopefully, they can help you move forward and fight through it. if one person doesnt know what to do, or seem to understand, seek help with someone else. many communities have free meetings, you can even check with a pastor, or church group leaders may be able to guide you. i am not aware of your age, but someone out there is ready and willing to help. if youre a minor, please ask your parents for help, or a school counselor or teacher.
there is no magic fix, but admitting you are depressed is the hardest part, so you've made a big start. i dont have a easy fix, nor know what to say exactly ..except i care- im sure others do as well. depression and anxiety are horrible to deal with, especially alone. you may feel no one else has felt this way, but you aren't alone, and it does get better, especially with treatment, counseling, bio-feedback, yoga, prayer, meditation..so many things can help. i know as i've personally dealt with both anxiety, depression and ptsd, and know others who suffer from depression, or a combination of it, as well.
