I'm so happy that you mentioned Unfettered Patterns because I keep recommending them! The only thing I've found is that I have to add about 3" to the length of their trouser patterns and I've made 2 different ones and I'm 5'6",other than that they're really good. Always great to see some new freebies, can't wait to see what you choose to sew up 😊
Thanks for this Sam. I have made the Life Sew Savoury pjs and they are very simple. I was thinking of running up another pair so this is the perfect time 😊to do that
Sam you should make the jeans with the blue denim and use the gold/beige material for the waist band, belt loops and back pockets. That would be cute. They looks good together on the tv screen. Hopefully they will look good together in person.
I am new to your channel, I love the information. I have never printed patterns off myself, is it difficult? Are there tutorials available for people to learn how to do it? Thank you!
Hi, no it’s not difficult to print off the patterns at all, just ensure that they are printed at 100%, there’s usually a box to check the sizing on the pattern somewhere, generally the 1st page & a guide of how to stick them together. A lot of designers have a tutorial about how to go about it or there will be written instructions somewhere on the website. Some printing companies can now ‘stitch’ A4/lettersize patterns together now onto A0. I found Flamingo prints in the UK to be pretty good value & great service 🤗
Yay thanks so much for joining the vlog tour Sam! So many great ideas for the challenge 😍
You’re welcome Yvette, such a great challenge 👍
Great information-Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Don't forget cotton corduroy or cotton velvet. Both great for jackets and coats. x 🙂
Ah yes I knew I’d forgotten something, it was on my notes too! Plus quilting cotton was , I think I forgot to mention that too 😂

Oh thanks for the heads up Rhondda - there's some great patterns on the website, I've only made the T shirt dress before but it turned out great 👍

@@FrugalisamaThank you , I guess I’ll have to stock up on paper and ink unless I can find a local print shop that does it
