Hello My car is a 2007 Lexus IS250. I've also messed around a lot with my steering rack, even though I got a knock from the shock absorber instead. Shouldn't have touched it at all. I sent the steering rack to Lithuania for restoration. I got a steering rack back that was too tight. Now after a year, the power steering disappeared. Red P/S light in armature. I wanted to ask if you have managed the steering yourself now? I also made the mistake of buying a UK steering rack, but they are so different that it is not possible to make one whole out of two. Tundud Eesti poiss olevat - mind ei subscribe'i, aga saad andeks. Kuna sellel GS300'l oli ohtralt igasugu puudujääke ka muudes sõlmedes, siis minu plaan oli proovida lammutuse roolilatiga. Lammutuse roolilattidel (xdalys.lt kaudu tellitud) kõigil olid osavad härrad lammtuajad pistikud rohkem või vähem ära lõhkunud. Idee nägi ette, et võtaks auto peal olevalt mitte-toimivalt roolilatilt pisitikud ja tõstaks ümber - ehk saaks sellest mingit asja. Miks see võimalik ei ole on kõik videos näha. RHD roolilatiga proovisime ka. Mina jõudsin nii kaugele, et RHD'ga ei saa midagi teha, pistikute vahetuseks vajalikku jootmist keegi ei tee ja ainus võimalus oleks osta tehasetaastatud latt (880€). Käisin läbi/helistasin/küsisin nii paljudest kohtadest, kui oskasin.
No, it was an absolute pile of junk besides the fact that the power steering was not working. That was the least of it's worries.
