Hi Ian, I’m am a sixty year old woman from Australia 🇦🇺, that turns on RUclips everyday hoping there is a new interview that you have done. I have never been to prison or ever been in trouble but I love to hear stories of people that have had a hard road to walk and be able to come out on the other side with positive thoughts and successes. I just love all of your interviews. This one on particular was so fascinating. Keep up the great work you are doing and I can certainly see you been very successful. ❤ from Australia 🇦🇺.
She said she just submitted 3 fake affidavits and the govt wanted those 3 people but she was so ethical she chose to go to prison to protect the 3. (Instead of her kids). She is such a liar. She scammed Ian. He obviously didn’t do any research prior to the interview.
She lied and is full of shit. Absoluty no accountability. That’s what this channel; and these stories are about. True change, accountability, and growth. It’s ridiculous! Did she think no one would look into it? The feds wouldn’t mess with her over $0- and 3 fake papers. I bet her “ministry” is a giant scheme. I bet that lawyer she” lost” money on because he answered his phone and told a lady he can’t represent her- and that got him thrown off her case? Nah- doesn’t work like that; and I bet if you contact him- he would tell you the true story. This lady sucks- she’s a victim and hasn’t done the work to come full circle. This one is a dud, and she’s shameful for this.
There is more to this story, she is not being totally honest, she stole from people trying to be able to stay legally and forged documents. She’s mad about the money she spent on attorney fees !!! She made $$$$$$ on desperate people, who used there life savings, if you have ever been robbed, you would feel differently, she was in a country club camp, who had home visits , I don’t think she is sorry for what she did or how it effected her victims
She said, she went to jail for 10 years for some papers The FEDS never will put you in jail for only papers, money has to be involved on her crime Seems to me that she blames the lawyer, the feds, and the judge, instead of saying I stole money from people. I will never trust a person like that. First thing is accepting what you did wrong to others
Childhood trauma is real and so is abandonment issues I love that she shared now I'm able to understand her better NOT saying she was right for fraud, Also it makes me very thankful for the wonderful childhood I was given!*‼️💯💜
Good interview. Looking through her case she is 100% telling you lies but still a good interview. I can tell you picked up that her story was not true. She was defrauding people, taking advantage of "immigrants" that had no chance and she knew that and doing it for profit. She did not go to prison for false statements only.

Ian, great interview my guy. You have a very entertaining podcast. She is a gem. She’s a beautiful woman with an infectious smile, laugh and personality. Glad to see her doing so well after getting completely screwed
This lady is nice and she did not deserve a 10-year sentence. She is intelligent and verbally fluent. Wish her a long life with happiness, good health, happiness, and luck.
Friend of mine had a stupid attack and embezzled some money from a program that accepted Federal funds, and so was charged Federally. She absolutely admitted to what she did. The Federal Bureau of Intimidation decided to double the amount she embezzled through some shady shit. They offered to allow her to plead to one count embezzlement and one count of Money Laundering (which she really did on the most basic of levels...she is not what you'd call a master criminal) and the full amount they said or they would charge her for 60+ charges. She pleaded of course. Of course the also charged her with failure to pay income tax, too. She got one year and a day for embezzlement and laundering, and four years and 364 days for tax stuff. She spent three years in FPC Bryan, Tx. and got three years supervised probation If she had not pled out the possible sentence was 25+ years. BTW, she's a blue-eyed blonde woman. She did every damn day and had no disciplinary problems on her record.
Children, young or grown, NEVER outgrow their mother or father, that void will forever remain internally regardless of how much one denies or tries to convince themselves otherwise, or undergoes therapy.

But it’s so beautiful to see people come out of it and rise above it. I can see that God was definitely watching over her throughout her experiences 🙏🏻 such an encouraging story! ❤
I would imagine its nearly impossible to prove she didn't know that she felt the applications were fraudulent. At most I'd think it's just a fireable offense but crazy to see prison time for it...
This is an amazing interview. She’s an absolute sweetheart. What she didn’t say is that she was released early from prison. Also the same Judge that sentenced her released her early from probation.

Never understood why the feds use months instead of years when sentencing people smh. Unless it's under a year, that's not how people normally talk, at least not in the 21st century! I've never had a conversation with a friend who said something like, "Remember around 78 months ago when we went to that concert?" That just doesn't happen, it sounds weird. Court is already stressful enough, especially during sentencing. The last thing people need is to be having to do some quick math to figure out how many years they just got while they're being escorted out of a courtroom in cuffs and shackles as they're trying to say goodbye to any family and/or friends that might have came to show support too...
Great episode, however I do believe she downplayed her culpability. I do not believe she simply turned in the clients "Sworn Affidavit" along with the application. This does not get you 10 years. I read her case report, it does not give exact details on that part, but if I had to guess, I would say she was involved with the actual creation of the Affidavit itself. I don't think it was as simple as turning a "blind eye" to the Affidavit the client gave her, when she submitted it in the application process.
"From April 2005 through November 2008, PEREZ, who operated Reliable Clerical Services, Inc., d/b/a Reliable Immigration Services, in Queens, swindled immigrants out of thousands of dollars by claiming that she could get them green cards and other immigration benefits, when she knew she could not. Perez’s legal conduct included charging phony fees that were not actually required by immigration authorities, and continuing to take money from clients long after their applications had been rejected. She also submitted multiple applications under the L.U.L.A.C. program, a limited immigration amnesty and legalization program that allowed certain illegal immigrants to apply for legal residence. Despite knowing that her clients had entered the U.S. after January 1, 1982 - too late to be eligible for the L.U.L.A.C. amnesty program - she nevertheless told clients she could get them green cards. She then prepared and submitted applications to United States Department of Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") that contained false statements about her clients’ entry dates, and charged the clients thousands of dollars per application. Perez made more than $500,000 in illicit proceeds from these schemes." www.justice.gov/archive/usao/nys/pressreleases/January12/perezcloversentencing.html Quote is pulled from Ms. Perez's sentencing article written by the DOJ. You would be exactly right.
"In addition, in 2006, PEREZ used a client’s personal identifying information to obtain a fraudulent credit card account in that client’s name. She then used that account to make multiple purchases of luxury items, including plane tickets for herself and members of her family." She also did personally profit, despite her statement to the contrary.
@@Keedy95 Exactly. It appears to me that what got her caught was the fraudulent document, which led them to the credit card fraud (identity theft by fraudulently purporting to be the woman and getting the card), and that led to an investigation which uncovered all of this. Still enjoyed the episode and love Ian's show, but it was in pretty poor taste to let this lady describe defrauding hopeful lawful permanent residents out of over $500,000 by claiming she took nothing from them or the government.
Some of this story doesnt add up to her getting 10 years for "3 peices of paper".....how she says her mother was basically not rich but was a good money saver, she says that she didnt have much money......but somehow they came up with a $75,000 down payment for the first lawyer, and 2 months later she came up with another $20,000 down payment and she started her own business in NYC? NYC of all the expensive places to rent and start a business? According to what i read and saw, she was breaking them people off for thousands of dollars. And this is prolly the real reason why she got the 10 years, not because of the "3 peices of paper". Im really beginning to question some of these interviewees on this podcast
I feel badly she was treated differently than others that committed more harmful crimes by being sent to the Brooklyn facility for 13 months before she was actually sentenced and wasn’t granted the opportunity to get her affairs order because she was deemed a flight risk HOWEVER, my heart hurts for the 83 victims she swindled and stole their life savings from, THAT IS HORRIFIC! And she’s lying, there WAS HARM to some of her clients, 83 victims is A LOT, she robbed them of their hard earned money and all they were trying to do was be given a fair opportunity to live in this FREE COUNTRY, proves how many take their freedom and opportunities for granted!
You have to take into account that from the judges perspective they offered her 24 months. Whether her lawyer told her about it or not is another topic for another day. But once you deny the 24 months go to trial and then your phone guilty. They probably just tripled it
...Yet the secretary who testifies against you can say WHATEVER she WANTS. Dude , truth is stranger than fiction. This could be a BOOK. a MOVIE. I'm SERIOUS.

Keep it going Ian.. this is how you build something great ✊️
❤️🫡🙏
This is a great interview Ian. Keep up the great work.
This woman down played a LOT of what she did.
EVERYONE has a past, my childhood was absolutely horrifying, that doesn’t give me a right to SCAM PEOPLE!!! If she’s in her 50’s and still has, “abandonment and Daddy issues,” she’s done no work on herself!! Read her case documents and you’ll see what a selfish asshole she was ! She mentioned being spoiled and always getting her way… THAT is why she scammed these people!!!
I heard her Jamaican accent right away. Just as I did with the Unique interview. I'm glad to see my fellow Jamaicans turn their lives around.
Ian, great interview my guy. You have a very entertaining podcast. She is a gem. She’s a beautiful woman with an infectious smile, laugh and personality. Glad to see her doing so well after getting completely screwed
Ol' Rogan has some competition!! Great interview!!
Thank you!!!
I love how you interview Ian… Always the best! ❤
Thank you so much
I read the transcripts. The jury you actually deliberated for 3 minutes. The rest was lunch
Thank you!
This lady is nice and she did not deserve a 10-year sentence. She is intelligent and verbally fluent. Wish her a long life with happiness, good health, happiness, and luck.
I like that you ask how the situation effects the family.
Beautiful smart and you can tell a good person great interview
Yep Ian you were right, I loved this episode! The systems set in place are all very corrupt in some way. It’s so sad to hear about. But it’s so beautiful to see people come out of it and rise above it. I can see that God was definitely watching over her throughout her experiences 🙏🏻 such an encouraging story! ❤
I absolutely love his Podcast!! He does an amazing job!! Please continue to keep this podcast going!! You really do good work!!
Damn Ian, incredible interview. You're right, I was very touched by this magnificent human. Thank you Ian.
Glad you enjoyed thanks for watching
I would imagine its nearly impossible to prove she didn't know that she felt the applications were fraudulent. At most I'd think it's just a fireable offense but crazy to see prison time for it...
This is an amazing interview. She’s an absolute sweetheart. What she didn’t say is that she was released early from prison. Also the same Judge that sentenced her released her early from probation.
Glad you came back in my "recommended"!! Im going to binge watch them ALL!! I was in FPC Alderson 3/02-11/02.. great interview

Awesome interview Ian!!
Thanks!
Best interview yet!!!
Glad you enjoyed thanks!
🎉 great pod thanks for the content
Thanks so much!!
Came across your channel one day and aint stopped watching since
Thanks for watching🙏🏻
CONGRATS ON 100K BRO!!!!
Great interview.
I love the way she talks. 😍
Perez made more than $500,000 in illicit proceeds from these schemes."

Quote is pulled from Ms. Perez's sentencing article written by the DOJ. You would be exactly right.
"In addition, in 2006, PEREZ used a client’s personal identifying information to obtain a fraudulent credit card account in that client’s name. She then used that account to make multiple purchases of luxury items, including plane tickets for herself and members of her family."
She also did personally profit, despite her statement to the contrary.
@@nathanielhooper9365OOF that explains the identity theft charges then
@@Keedy95 Exactly.
@@nathanielhooper9365 damn, no wonder she had all that lawyer money
My first time watching this show.
A horrible injustice!!
What a story. Got bless her
thanks
Really good episode
This was an amazing interview! Dr. Perez is an inspiration.
Great interview
Thank you
She is an amazing woman! 👏
You have to take into account that from the judges perspective they offered her 24 months. Whether her lawyer told her about it or not is another topic for another day. But once you deny the 24 months go to trial and then your phone guilty. They probably just tripled it
So excited! Daaammmnnn Ian, bringing the heavy hitters!!
The world would be such a better place if everyone had the mind set like her
OK so.. If you take the stand , yet are found guilty, they ASSUME you LIED and assign more "Points" against you?? WHAT!?!?!?! The... Fuck!??!?!?!?!?!
...Yet the secretary who testifies against you can say WHATEVER she WANTS. Dude , truth is stranger than fiction. This could be a BOOK. a MOVIE. I'm SERIOUS.
@waynebyarlay8421 it's b.s not the truth. This lady's story is as shady as the contractor he interviewed .
