Hi Wendy. I love your bead designs! I just bought a bunch of polymer clay heishi beads to make bracelets, etc and was looking for design ideas, and I really like your stacking designs. For multiple bracelets, instead of cutting a piece of elastic for each bracelet, I plan my designs for several bracelets on a bead board and then string them directly on the roll of elastic using a random bead that's not in the design to separate them and just cut each bracelet off the spool, stretch, and tie them off.
Such a fun and versatile type bead. The colors are so fresh and interesting. When you shared your Heishi Beads on your pegboard display it reminded me of a fun summer day on a beach.
I'm not really a fan of stretch bracelets but I love these. Georgous!! Your fossil bead focal, love, love, love. I believe this is the first time I liked tassels in a project. Wonderful craftsmanship 😊
Your bracelets are soooo beautiful I love working with natural materials like shells and wood and I am a heishi bead addict. Thanks for inspiring me to get off my @%% and start beading! 💕🍧💕🍰💕🍧💕
I’ve seen those heishi beads but a lot of them were so bright, like neon bright, and I’m too old for that!! LOL but I love yours so I will have to get some. I love stacking bracelets.
Mt boss has used that technique for 25 years and had never had a problem. I've had knots come undone but never had the crimp cut the cord. Just because it is designed for one thing doesn't mean it can't have other uses. You have to think outside of the box 😊
I've never had an interest in heishi beads before until I saw your adorable bracelets! And earrings! Thank you Wendy!
Glad I could inspire you 😊
I loved both sets actually. The black & white were so snazzy!

Love these bracelets!! Now I want some heshi bead bracelets too.

Lovely set!😊
Lovely bracelets thanks for the share
Lovely ! Do the crimps work with alot of wear or does the elastic break?
Really cute. Tfs hugs.
so beautiful
Crimp beads are designed for beading wire only. They will cut stretch cord eventually. Knots are the way to go when using stretch cord

Hello wendy.nice bracelet
Hi Wendy I like the idea of the crimp bead. Just wondering if there is a worry that the crimp bead would eventually cut the stretch magic.
I've never had it cut the stretch cord but I suppose if you crimp extremely hard it could
I love these bracelets! Do you have any tutorials for stretch rings?
Funny you ask that. My neice is here and she suggested we do rings so I will be doing that in the next few days 😃
SOOOOOO CUTE!
❤️🧡💛💚💙
Love them! 🥰
Pretty!
Do you use clay polymer or vinyl heishi? The ones you used look thicker and I think I like them better thick
They are polymer clay
Love it ❤ How many beads goes on a bracelet ? Love this technique ❤🙂
It depends on the size you need. The heishi beads are little.discs so it can also depend on. How thick the beads are. They can vary in thickness
Ok.... Thanks 🙂@@thisbeadedlife
Did you mix the sizes of heishi beads or just use one size?
My Heishi beads are so much smaller than yours, but like them just the same
Nice🤩🤩💖
How do u measure the bracelets if making for different people ?
The average wrist size is 7.5 inches. If you dont know their size, I usually stick to between 7.5 and 8 inches for a stretchy bracelet.
@@thisbeadedlife thanks so much for ur reply 😀
what size wire r u pulling the stretch magic with at the end?
It is bead stringing wire, 7 strand
I like the idea of a crimp bead instead of making a knot. You just crimp once, not twice???
Yes I just crimp once
