@@zionthiem6343 they claimed 592 bhp, which is the horsepower measured at the flywheel, whilst the whp is measured at the wheels (duh). Like he said in the video, there's a 15% loss between the wheels and the flywheel
The 600LT is one of my favorite cars out right now. Beautiful car all around. Has the tech, styling, aggressiveness, exhaust placement and sound is absolutely incredible, optional roof scoop, awesome looking wheels and so much more. Just really love it.
@@kingcoopa6548 I said ONE of MY favorites. Honestly, I was referring to cars I could potentially purchase myself. Cannot afford a P1 right now being 1M-2M
I was driving a 650s today, gotta say mclaren is such a beautiful automobile. From the steering wheel to the raw power! Man, wish everyone could experience it!
Since 1972 SAE HP has been measured at the transmission with the AC, hydraulic power steering if the vehicle has it, emission equipment, and a complete exhaust system. SAE, BHP, PS, and mabye CV are measured this way hence 591 SAE or 600 PS is not crank or gross HP. 591 × 1.1 = 650 crank HP and 591 × 1.15 = 680 crank HP.
I wish VF would start putting twin turbo kits on the lambos. Something like UGR. It’s so much more effective and god the spool with the V10 is mesmerizing
There's no 2 engines exactly alike mass produce or hand built and if they are ecact alike they arent broken in the same way making the numbers still slightly off
Mid engine cars that are RWD typically lose less power than a front engine car because there's a shorter connection between the flywheel and the wheels (less mass to move).
The Mustang Dynos are notorious lower than the dynojet. My car on back to back runs was lower in hp and torque on the Mustang Dynos. This is known on several forums. Beautiful car and VF is awesome.
Maybe someone said this already, but I wonder if the dyno reading would have been higher if they were blowing air into the roof scoop, to mimic the ram-air effect that would happen while driving. Although, I don't know if that would effect a forced-induction car like the 600LT
You need a McLaren diagnostic tool to get them into dyno mode. Only serious dyno shops get ahold of these... 2wd is how the car is meant to be tested, 4wd is a bandaid.
VF should totally just run a tune on th perf. And run at thermal then supercharge. They then can get together a price per performance/HP. Well subjectively that is. Unless they can do it in exactly same conditions wouldnt be perfect results but the variance should be too much as long as the weather is close
Air pressure in different part of the world make car companies to put HP "down" from what it makes, because they want their car to be perfect in every country and every sea level your at, in a dyno you have pure air from ventilators... my opinion Great videos as always Parker
I have to imagine that Mclaren will void your warranty if you mess with the ecu. They usually don’t like anyone but their own mechanics touching their cars.
Do a satin finish to the carbon fiber it will looks way better , and change the seatbelt color to blue , the body color is too glossy so the satin carbon will be a nicer option to have
Hey Parker, I’m about to purchase a 2018 Maserati Ghibli SQ4. Im thinking about getting it tuned so it can produce more than the 424 stock hp. If I get it tuned how much more hp will the tune produce? Also, who is a good company to go to?

"My watch scratches because it's solid gold." That's a terrible problem to have.
It's always pleasure to watch a brief interview with Nick he's very knowledgeable and knows his work.
how much power does a 720S put down on their dyno?
I think less then on other dyno, mustangs read low.
680-700 rwhp
Id be curious also to compare to the dyno you did yours on. It will be quite a bit lower on the mustang dyno but Id like to see how much
I was driving a 650s today, gotta say mclaren is such a beautiful automobile. From the steering wheel to the raw power! Man, wish everyone could experience it!
20% parasitic loss on a Mustang load bearing dyno is pretty accurate.
That puts you at a little over 630hp and little under 600trq at the crank.
Got the notification, immediately clicked off the other vid LOL
That dude talking with Parker around 8:15-10:00 wanted all the lime light he could get! 🤣🤣🤣
Im a car fan but i personally realy like the watch videos. thier a very nice change of pace and you seem to know what your talking about
Hasan Minhaj sure knows a thing or two about cars

Sorry Parki, but the second i saw that gorgeous 720S your car became irrelevant :D
Love the additional watch content as well as the great car content
The roof scoop is the best part of your car bro.
Love how the rims basically "disappear" and you see the blue brakes as it reaches high speeds. The car also sounds amazing!

Damn... Those lime green calipers on the other car go so much better with the purple!
Can’t wait to see this in person ! Will u be at cars and copters?!
LOVE THE NEW INTRO MAN
Are Mclaren engines all hand built and therefore all slightly different HP?
No because it’s still the same engine in the cars.
Hand built to very specific tolerances, couple digit differences at most maybe.
There's no 2 engines exactly alike mass produce or hand built and if they are ecact alike they arent broken in the same way making the numbers still slightly off
If your comparing dynos, I know different dynos measure differently
There not hand made but there builder different to either vehicles which makes it drive a special way
This nick guy ceases to impress me , great teacher !
It's pronounced Pah Tech Parker. Calling it a paddak makes you sound like you actually don't know time pieces
And he owns this 75k dollar watch and cant change the date because he will loose the tool.
...also Vacheron Constan “tahn”, not Contan “teen”. Definitely not a watches guy...
Who gives a flying fuc!?
Sounds kinda salty
Loving the watch content; bring it on!
You and the McLaren seem like a good match. You seem more calm and focused on things. Resets can be a good thing. :)
Hey Parker. Did you fill in the areas on your new driveway, that were supposed to get grass? Looks like one concrete driveway now. Great video!
Congratulations on 2m subs man!
The exhaust notes🔥🔥👌
Loving the watch talk!
Not a big fan of Parker but this is my favorite car on RUclips right now.
There's gloss finish and matte finish, satin is a 50/50 mix of gloss and matte. So you can kind of get a visual on your head of what it is
Nick is like a doctor for high performance cars

584 to the wheels is my guess I guessed when you were talking about your watch
Has there ever been a (filmed) case of the straps at the rear snapping and the car shooting off the dyno? Or is this not possible?
The fact that it was a mustang dyno was the reason it was low. If you put it on a dyno jet you'd probably be around 540
Wow ur finally driving it
