Hi Efe, thank you my friend! The true magic is out in mother nature, we just have to capture it ;) Happy Easter and nice greetings from Austria, Christian
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G photos. Your photos turn the ideal into something real, they manage to capture the essence of what landscape photography means. Beyond brilliant.
Hi Emre, thank you so much, this means a lot! I just always try to engaging with the story itself, everything else in composition just supports the story. It took my quite long to understand that. Before that I worked with rules like golden ratio, rule of space, and so on, what lead more into clean, steril, technical shots. Really nice to hear, that you like my photographs, thank you therefor :) Happy Easter and nice greetings from Austria, Christian
Hi Sergey, thanks a mill! So cool, that you stumbled over my channel. There will come lots of more useful videos for sure :) Thank you and nice greetings, Christian
Hi Christian, within landscape photography you can work with different rules for the composition of a photo. The ratio of the golden ratio is perceived as aesthetic, which makes it pleasant to look at. In reality it is a spiral that runs over the entire image (the golden Fibonacci spiral in photography). If you build a composition entirely according to the golden ratio, the viewer's eye is guided smoothly and naturally through the entire image until it arrives at a resting point. The main subject is then located there. Sometimes it seems difficult to apply all the photo rules. But by sometimes looking at the scenery a little longer, you also discover which lines are important. I haven't been shooting for years, but I notice that I still think in terms of leading lines, aspect ratios and composition when I look at something. Great that you always want to share your knowledge with the viewers of your RUclips videos with so much passion. 🎥🎬📷👌👍🙏
Hi my friend, to be honest: I also worked for years with golden ratio, rule of thirds, rule of space and how they are all called :) And yes, these things are all proofed by science. But finally I realized, that I was too concentrated on rules only and I didn't think what I wanted my photographs to say. It felt more like science than art and I got out clean photographs tough, but there were no emotions. I realized, that the major problem was, that my photos didn't tell a story. Then I started to think about the why behind each rule and found out, that it is easier to let my photographs tell a story, when I work with the roots behind. Balance is very strong here, for instance. I never think about the golden section anymore, I just think if I should place an element more left/right, more up/down to bring the image into that visual weight, that supports my story. And this improved my photography really massively. Interesting to hear, that you didn't photograph for years. I also had a longer break of photography, due to building up my IT&marketing company and I started again in 2015. I engaged with photography and composition tough during by absence, but I didn't execute photography by myself. I can just tell you - it is an amazing feeling to hold a camera again first time after years and to start again with the knowledge you have already built up. So for the case, that you should think about if you should start again - I can highly recommend, my friend. Landscape photography is just amazing, it changed my life even twice :) Happy Easter and nice greetings from Austria, Christian
@@christian.irmler Hi Christian, for many years I have health problems due to severe osteoarthritis and nerve compression in hands, wrists and other joints. I have had multiple operations on both hands and wrists. And despite all the medical procedures I still have very stiff hands and chronic pain. That is why I unfortunately had to stop taking pictures. Due to motor numbness in my hands, I sometimes accidentally dropped a precious camera or lens. So unfortunately I had to give up shooting with heavy equipment. But to stay a bit active with image making, I do have two GoPro's and recently the DJI mini 2 to replace all my heavy equipment. So I'm still doing a bit of fun with making short RUclips video's. 😊 Fortunately, I can also enjoy the photos that other photographers take. And I especially enjoy all the things that I can still do. 😉🌞 Happy Easter
