For the connecting rooms, is there a way to open the divider on the balcony so that you can sit out there and talk with the adjoining room people? We booked adjoining rooms with friends thinking we could sit outside and visit on the balcony.
Thank you for the thorough room tour. I like that the shower has a door rather than a shower curtain! Did you find the storage areas sufficient after you unpacked? The second closet is a space saver and would certainly be great to accommodate tops and bottoms for two of us. Over-the-bed storage would be useful too.
Oh my, yes the dreaded shower curtain lol. Royal has spoiled me with the actual doors. I just went on a Carnival cruise and it was fun but they still have the curtains 😭I personally think they have plenty of storage, but it would really depend on how many people you're traveling with per room and what kind of packer you are. I tend to overpack a little bit, but nothing crazy so I don't use up a whole lot of the storage when I travel lol.

I would like to know if the balcony had any view obstructions. I read that the narrow part of ship has obstructions but by looking at your video, there isn’t any. I do see some yellow life boats (I think?). Could you please comment on or share some more videos or pictures of your balcony? Thank so so much! :)
Hi Janet! My room did not have any obstructions from the balcony. When you look down you will be able to see the yellow life boats, but it doesn't get in the way of looking out at the view from your balcony itself. Hope this helps!
Hi there! We booked 9688 and 9686 for a cruise and I’m wondering if you know where the service entrances are in that area? I am concerned about noise/traffic or service entrances being directly across from those rooms? Any insight on this issue? Thanks in advance!
Hi Jill! The best advice I can give you is to google "Ovation of the Seas Deck Plan" and it will show you exactly where service entrances are etc. I ALWAYS look at the deck plans before choosing my room to make sure I'm in a spot that will work best for me. Hope this helps!

It just shows up as a giant blank space on the deck plan, it isn’t even notated as being a service area (but it must be). I’ve also looked at every traveler video to see if there are videos of the hallway there, and no such luck. Anyway, thanks for replying- I really enjoy your videos!
Well, I can't speak for other creators, but for myself I don't ever notice if there's things below my balcony that might obstruct the view in that direction. When I'm out on the balcony, I'm 99% of the time just looking forward/out so it doesn't bother me if the lifeboats or other balconies are in sight. I don't consider it obstructed if there's not something like poles or lifeboats directly in my line of sight.

Great review and power outlet info is invaluable. Please remember that ‘power boards’ are forbidden whereas the ‘hub’ usb seems to be ok
