I'm in the U.S. and recently acquired a barely used Brompton Explore M6R in [British] Racing Green that was originally purchased in the U.S. in 2023. It, too, has all silver detailing which I find beautiful. Being my first British bike, I was estactic about this find and in this color. But, yes, I would agree that the Tempest Blue, too, is gorgeous. LIked and subscribed, and I believe that I saw you in a very brief clip of the 2024 WBC video posted by an avid Filipino Brompton owner. Cheers!
Tempest is great for the classic look and silver upgrades. That yuzu deserves a more modern look with 5 spoke CF aftermarket rims and amongst other cf parts
Still a great color. Every time someone asks about the bike (the typical questions) , there is always the "and such a nice blue color" somewhere in the chat. Although it is an original release bike with a "few" 😂 miles on it.
Also it does not seem to have the "C" letter like the bikes from 2022. I wasn't aware that the 2023 bikes did not have it... It is a good thing, I do not like the "C" on mine...
I wonder if William Shakespeare was riding his Brompton back in 1611 and was struggling for the title of his latest play, so he named it after the colour of his bike = The Tempest, do we have a song for the video of course we do = Blue Bayou = Roy Orbison.
@@AncientYouth64 not really it was not meant to be funny and judging by your response it was obviously not , it was the only thing I could think of with tempest in it , dying is easy , comedy is hard , harder for me though , got blue thyme within the song , don’t tell me you missed that , thanks for the feed back now that bit is me joking.
Hi H so technically i 'had' archive edition of the tempest blue... but i change almost ALL detailing to BLACK ahahahahhaha headset - black chris king remove mudguard change chainring to third party black and pedal to black change wheet set to third party black remove internal hub to externel change handlebar to black carbon smc change seatpost to black carbon.. LOL
Silver mudguards look cheap. Sort of thing one used to get on child's trikes from Triang etc. Much prefer my all black Brompton E-bike-- But to each his own.

One of my favourite colours, and much prefer the silver rather than black details, which looks more classic than sporty.
Hear, hear!
Thanks both for watching!
Agree - I’ve even bought silver detailed spares for when I need to renew the ones currently on my bike.
My Brompton is Tempest Blue. I love it!
Thanks for watching!
Love tempest blue
My favorite as well. I believe it is the same color as my 2014 Brompton.
That is the colour scheme of my Brompton, 2019.
😀. Thanks for watching!
Not sure is it gloss ? 😊thanks
It’s a silk finish. Thanks for watching!

We also really like the Yuzu lime 😀. Thanks for watching!

Weird to Say that my tempest blue brompton from 2022 is archeive 😂 love it 😍
Thanks for watching!
How long tempest blue will be available?
It sure, it’s an archive edition, so guess not that long!
The silver versions are more classy, especially with tempest blue and racing green
We love the green / blue with the silver!
Thanks for watching!
This may sound a cheeky question but how profit do make on a brompton bike sale
Many thanks for watching! Not as much as you probably think, but we love them anyway!
I can see from your videos u are very passionate about the brompton foldable bikes.
I love the color. Which I could trade my Piccadilly blue.
Thank you for watching!

It’s just the archive edition that does not have a C. You can always remove it if you don’t like it.
Thanks for watching!

i bet that sounded a lot wittier in your head

Thanks both for watching! We found it fun!!!
I did imagine that most Bromptons further on would be Black Versions, as on my 2019, flame painted Superlight? Finn. Denmark
The core bikes are black this year, it’s just some limited edition bikes are silver.
Thanks for watching!

Agree each to his own - I prefer the silver! 😅
Ehhh, not as nice as Piccadilly blue imo.
Thanks for watching! I guess we all have our favourites 😀
I disagree, but different strokes for different folks, that's the beauty of their wide range of colors.
