Great video! Trying to upload the first track and getting an error message.... "Incorrect ID card type". Dont suppose you've ever seen and had to figure that one out. I wish SoundOn had some troubleshooting pages.
I have not. Yeah, I wish that as well since they are fairly new with their distribution. Do you get that error message when you are uploading the actual song or the artwork?
Should one wait until the song is doing well on TikTok in terms of content before posting on sound on or sound on first?

Hi great video but i have a quick question. If my song is currently registered with Songtrust, then it won't be eligible for SoundOn Commercial Music Library and sync?
Correct. You would have to switch everything over if you wanted to be eligible for SoundOn Commercial Music Library and sync.
When I distribute my own songs, all of them got rejected for the following reason “ rejection requested by artist”
Could you help to explain or resolve this issue?
Which distributor did you use?
@@JaceyFlames I am using SoundOn to distribute my songs, audio files including songs and sometimes just instrumental, few of them approved but the most are rejected due the reason I have mentioned before “rejection requested by artist” which I didn’t find any explanation for it also my songs and everything contains no copyrighted material
They may think that your music has copyrighted material, even though it doesn’t. You might need to try routenote or tunecore
Does anyone know how to update a release cover?
Once it is sent to stores, it isn’t possible unless you withdraw that song or songs from stores and re-release it.
Hi , Does SoundOn provide youtube content id ?
Unfortunately right now, it only provides ISRC codes for previously released music but not RUclips content ID…yet.
