My mouth’s watering now! We visited the Blockhaus in 2018 and found it so very interesting and would agree that it’s definitely a place to visit if in the area. Went to Ganspette on your recommendation after our trip in July and loved it. Had 3 courses and that’s not like me these days, great stop. I clocked the Blockhouse on the way in and said to my missus that the name was very familiar (must have watched something about it recently) and only twigged after it was too late, next time 😫. What sort of costs did you have for the tolls and fuel on the French side to get to Spain please? May do something similar next year and maybe see the Pyrenees at the same time. Great vlogs thanks PS just heard the toll costs apols😂

Question for Slaw. What are you using to attach your phone to the rear view mirror and can you charge the phone while it’s in the holder ? Loving the vlogs keep up the great work. 😊
The first time I visited the blockhouse it was 8 euros entrance fee, I believe it is now 13, at that time there was no health and safety and you could actually touch most the exhibits instead standing behind rail bars, but still something to see .NAZI madness. All take care richie
Just checked back in my book Peter and I can tell you how many miles, the mpg, cost of tolls and campsites, but I didn’t record the cost of the fuel 🤦🏻♀️ Sorry!
Make sure you put your seat belt on Mrs Slaw before you move away from the toll. After all you are filming yourself driving without a seat belt on. I thought the Blockhaus was really frightening and it was much more open than it is now. Although there is a lot more information now.

Gandspette is one of our favourite sites, ideal for a stopover of longer stay with added history at the bunker ,nice restaurant
