The complexity is due to the large no of parts and size. In reality compare to other kits I have done, its fantastic. I would suggest doing at least 2 or 3 other ship models first. It is a BIG model and you need a lot of space.
What other companies make this model, i know OcCre does not i emailed them and they said no. I knoq ZHL instructions are in Chinese only?. So can some one give me the Link to a calder craft
One of the best wooden kits! I once built a HMBV Granado, and I think that Jotika is a very good manufacturer! Good luck with building!

did you sand both sides of the keel for the sanding line, or just the side shown?
Both sides you need to reduce on bot sides for planking thinckness
did you cut a corresponding rabbet in the stem (55) and Keelson(56)?

Plans tell you to do that to the keel ?
