- One of the first things we thought about when purchasing our 1930s Bungalow By The Sea last year was how we would change the current layout, and make this property our family home. We obsessed over the floorplan; figuring out how we would turn it from a two-bed into a three-bed on paper, as well as make it accessible and future-proof.
The first part of making our dream layout has now happened; a lot quicker than we first thought!

Put the kingspan between the joists, nice and tight
Makes me smile the way you've kept the curtains up in the living room to make it look homely during the reno's. 😂
Anything to keep it somewhat homely and normal feeling whilst we were taking the home apart haha
400mm of rock wool will be good. It’s when it gets squashed down it loses its ability as insulation.
What ever you’re using you put the insulation touching the thing you want to insulate (if that makes sense) otherwise it will be of no use.
