I love this episode, compellingly tense and emotional. It also gave some closure on things I was concerned about. It was also interesting to see some more insight on Rufus’ life, he’s my favorite character. Also amazing to see Paul save Rufus, that’s admirable that he saved him despite his past with Rufus. Praise to you DeVario and to Nick. And I hope Nick gets to this
Thanks Seth. 👍🏽
@@SichoassdownProductions More about this series, is it me, or does Tammy look significantly like Esmeralda from Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame. Would you agree? Also when I see Tammy’s mother, Greta, to me, Greta looks like my aunt. My aunt also thinks her mom looks like her, specifically, when I showed her to her, my aunt said: “That’s me on mushrooms”
The thing about ‘shrooms is because of Greta’s big eyes.
😁 Yes I do see a little resemblance between Tammy and Esmeralda.
That’s funny that your aunt says Greta looks like her on mushrooms. 😁

I cannot believe Rufus had to go through this because his father became alcoholic
And his father became outrageously violent by verbally abusing him
I have tears in my eyes. 😪
What a start to Season 2 of WH. And damn did this episode provide good to its lead up.
1. Janet and P.A.B in control of Gilroy Rose now is a complete and utter disaster, and now that they're setting their sights all over the place on so many others, it makes the setting feel like deja vu to Paul's first encounter with Harrison Rufus and their group and giving off that vibe. Janet getting super pissed definitely gave me a good chuckle. 😂😂😂
2. Speaking of the young lad/the main focus himself, I see things with Paul are still rocky from where we left off last time, with his grandpa now seen in the hospital and accepting his fate after learning of his cancer in Season 1. Man did I almost want to shed a tear, but thankfully I didn't, and Bampa sure did a very good job share wise words of wisdom with Paul to try and help him. I sure hope to see a little more of that before the inevitable arriving of Bampa passing on.
3. Last but not least, Rufus. The amount of focus for him on this episode was surprising, especially with the addition of some of his past reflections on his mother/the bond he had with her, and what happened with him and his abusive father after the mother's passing. Then the gang related activity at the foster home which lead to Rufus being stabbed, SHIT did that catch me offguard, so it was a good thing Paul came when he did and was willing to lend a helping hand (Despite him and Rufus' history), and to do the right thing.
Overall, I'm very impressed with Season 2's premiere. I am definitely looking forward to seeing Chapter 12 with this new development and where things will go next in line for Paul and everyone else. I foresee major change coming😎
This definitely started off the season with a bang. A lot of changes are coming this season not only for Rufus, but just about everyone. 😎
DEAR GOSH! Just Dear Gosh!😱
I was waiting so bad for this
He save Rufus lives like true heroes
Ikr😊
Rufus' mother died...? That's horrible! Now I really feel sorry for him and everything else his past did to him... I hope that in the next chapter, it will be good. Also couldn't wait to see what happens next~~~
Yes, Rufus’s mother had a unspecified illness and after her death, Rufus’s father spent the money on alcohol and eventually lost the house and moved to a crap neighborhood
Come on Rufus be thankful Paul saved you
He was cussing out Duane and Randy. I think we all know why that is.
Also, He doesn’t know that Paul saved him yet.
You and Nick and Chloe did great. I’m proud of you guys. This was a great way to kick off season 2. I hope Ch.12 arrives in January. Will you work on that next?
Thanks Sekou. I’ll likely go ahead and start on Chapter 12 if I can’t think of any Collins Family ideas before.
I had no idea about Rufus' Mother and that she died. I always knew his father was an abusive alcoholic, but I never knew the dad owed money to those thugs Rufus was hurt by. Maybe Rufus will talk to Paul, or Randy and the other guy. They probably know a lot more about what went on with Harrison than with what the evidence that Dominic gave Paul could say. I sur hope Rufus wii relent and decide to help them out, otherwise the whole problem will get out of hand.
I wonder how he’ll react if he finds out Paul saved him
"With a face like that, I can see why you don't look in the mirror." Come on Rufus, I thought you had better comebacks than that lol.
But seriously, I think this was one of my favorite chapters so far. It felt like my emotions were going all over the place! And I was a bit surprised about Rufus's mother, I suppose I assumed she just walked out on him. I wonder if she might have been a lawyer before she died.
Also, the ending was pretty funny. I actually laughed aloud at it. When do you suppose the next part will be?
I want to try and get Chapter 12 done in January. There may or may not be another Collins Family episode before it. I'm still trying to think of ideas for one.
Were you laughing at the part where Rufus said “F, You!”?
@@SonicPlayer2004 Yes. Just Rufus being Rufus.
@@SichoassdownProductions
If there is another CF episode, then I don’t think it’s even possible to finish both in just a month.
@@SichoassdownProductions Don’t worry about it, I’ll just be patient. Take your time okay.
Poor Doug😢
wow, very dark, you really did a good job on this one. I was afraid for Paul as always though. great job. love the new voices, they're so realistic. well, alot of them are, but the one guy from the homeless shelter sounded pure evil. by the way, where did you get the screaming sound for Janet. was it another video on youtube? or a website. startled me at first, but in a funny kind of way. glad Paul saved Rufus. wonder if he's cgonna be grateful, or he's gonna be like you should've let me lie there.
Thanks Bob. Glad you enjoyed it. As for Janet’s scream, I got it from the Soundsnap site.
Me and Rufus both have one thing in common, we both lost our moms.
I’m sorry to hear that.
"I don't have money. It's obvious I don't." Did Rufus not make any money working for Flint? He did say in Chapter 8 that he gave Rufus a job.
If I'm not mistaken, Rufus worked for free since Flint gave him free shelter.
That’s correct. Rufus was free labor.
@@SichoassdownProductions
Oh Yeah I forgot about that. He said to Flint “I’m more than fulfilling my end of the bargain. Free labor.”
Damn, i guess Rufus' life was like a prison. Ever since his childhood, his dad has been abusing him for absolutely no reason and is treating him like garbage. I mean Rufus deserves a better life right?? Without PAB stalking him or homeless people beating him up and teasing him. And speaking of his dad, what happened to him??
Did you watch the 6 part Remedy story? Part 3 explains what happened to Mr Dyleski.
He was arrested and is in prison.
@@SonicPlayer2004 it was too long so i forgot that focus of the story
Poor grandpa of Paul
Hey Devario, I was wondering if I can use a portion of some of your videos for a video that I’m planning to edit soon if that’s okay with you. If yes I’ll be sure to give you credit for them, if not that’s fine.
Sure.
If Rufus was born in 2001, then he would've been 18 before Paul even returned to Wilford Heights. If that's the case, why would he still be in foster care? Or do some places keep kids there longer?
Paul and his family moved back in early January 2019. Rufus didn’t turn 18 until August of that year.
@@SichoassdownProductions Oh, of course. I keep getting the years mixed up. Sorry about that!
The title says there was additional writing from you. What parts did you add?
My contributions to the script:
- The pre-title prologue
- Expanding on the dialogue between Rufus and the three gang members at the homeless shelter (both in front of the pay phone and during the fight)
- The stabbing (which was Nick's idea, but I guess he forgot to write it into the script)
- Some additional lines of dialogue in Rufus' hospital room
- Rufus saying "fuck you" to Duane and Randy. The script originally had him spitting at them, but Vyond doesn't have a spitting action.
- Minor dialogue tweaks throughout the episode
@@SichoassdownProductions
Yeah. I feel like Rufus cussing Duane and Randy out is more in character for him.
Wait… so Rufus‘s father killed his wife?
No. She died from an unspecified illness.
@@SichoassdownProductions oof. Still pathetic for his father to become an alcoholic. My thoughts came because of a story I wrote but never finished. It contained a woman found guilty of murdering her husband and father of their 15 year old son
How old is Rufus?
During the events of Wilford Heights, he’s 17. He’s currently 21.
@@SichoassdownProductions Does he have an official birthday?
His DOB is August 10, 2001
P R O M O S M
Was the paper in the front of Rufus’s childhood home an eviction paper? Also I see Janet trying to conceal what the truth is, and did Rufus confront Harrison at the police station?
Yes, that was an eviction notice.
Rufus has not seen Harrison.
What you mean Janet is concealing the truth?
@@SonicPlayer2004 she wanted the video pab did of Rufus deleted and taken down
