    Have one daughter who is 1 yr old and I made less than 20k last year. I got hit with an IRS audit (CP05) letter this year instead of getting my refund. I'm literally being AUDITED for being poor 😔. My child needed that money, man. This is wrong.

      The insatiable greed of the US government does make it quite a clumsy, stupid, obnoxious oaf.
      If the government had any restraint, it wouldn't soil itself so routinely.
      But they don't care they don't care. As according to the IRS hold "music," we are "customers." . Customers. Like if we have a choice, we would choose them! LOL

    The IRS, FBI, and the Supreme Court all colluded against my wife after she paid off the taxes on a contract payout from her work. They have been trying to charge her with embezzlement for working without a GED or HSD, even though her employers said they were aware.. After almost 4 yrs of fighting these crooks, a FBI agent blew the whistle on everything going on and we "won" our case.. shortly after, she was arrested and charged for her supervisors crimes against us, and beaten by 2 guards and 4 inmates..
    I'm an army vet, and this absolutely disgusts me that our government is allowing this to happen

      @@AnthonyGarcia-kr9vu If beaten on a government facility why not sue the government for assault! That's felony assault that could've caused injury. Our prisons are nothing but a holding facility for violent gangs, housing both violent criminals and government personnel who work them. All are criminals. Nothing but a zoo that needs some reform. In Arizona, violent criminal gangs rule the prisons.

I know people who write off everything and who make bank and they got their refund in four days .. it don't make no sense to me they know we need this money to pay bills and keep our houses as it is the pandemic ruined everything.. When I see this I get disgusted because I have so much stress on my plate right now and I have no way to get any of it off

    Is it professional negligence if the IRS breaches the duty of care it owes to citizens, that are taxpayers, for insufficiently and/or reckless disregard in it’s capacity to carry out what are considered activities ordinary and necessary to conducting IRS business?

    IRS employees are down by 30,000 over the past decade. Another 20,000 are expected to retire next 5 years. So is this a good thing? This is an agency on it’s knees - speaking from a neutral position.

      Trump is a pig. The IRS does bully the poor. I can attest to that. Trump and other swine get away with paying less in taxes than a waitress living in a studio apartment with her son who gets audited for doing her own taxes. Think the IRS, Trump, Sen. Mitch McConnell are pure evil and there is not a hell hot enough for them.

    Speaking of labeling... be careful how you lump all agents into one category. Like every profession, some are very good, some so so, and some very bad. Most try to do their job correctly - but it's the bad apples that get the publicity.

    • @liquensrollant
      @liquensrollant 5 лет назад +4

      That's very true, but I think he's talking less about individual agents and more about the culture in the IRS. That can drive even well-meaning individuals to act in bad ways that they may disagree with themselves.

    • @heavymetalcruncher
      @heavymetalcruncher 5 лет назад

      @@liquensrollant - this is the case for any employee-employer relationship. If any employee acts against his or her own ethical principles (or the law, for that matter), that's on the employee. I tend to believe most individuals cannot be that easily coerced or brainwashed into doing something that is wrong. Personal responsibility reigns.

    • @liquensrollant
      @liquensrollant 5 лет назад +1

      @@heavymetalcruncher I don't disagree that personal responsibility is where the buck stops. The problem that ethical principles and the law are sometimes at odds with each other, and that's exactly when good people tend to do bad things. From everything I've learned I'd say it's actually surprisingly easy to brainwash good people into doing something that is wrong (but I guess it would be only fair to concede that that depends somewhat on what you consider a "good" person to be). More to the point though, culture has a huge influence on what is considered ethical, whether it's the IRS or an ethnic group or a nation. In light of that, my original statement might have made more sense had I written "may disagree with themselves if they were not inside the organisation".
