  • If you have a 996, 986, 987, or 997 Porsche then your car is prone to the same thing my car is: oil starvation in higher G corners!
In this video, I fit my 996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 with an upgraded baffle and deep sump to be able to better handle higher G cornering situations.
    Thank you for watching!!

I agree that this one from FVD is a much better design, but I think it could be a little better too. In the center area where the baffle is, needs to be deeper and on each side of the baffle it needs to slope up at least half the existing depth to aid in oil returning back to the oil pickup. This one can be modified if you so desire to do it.

I haven’t had any issues with it, including during track weekends. I see what you’re saying though, but I think the FVD is meant to be an OEM+, not necessarily an all out be-all-end-all.

@@FunAhead_TV_Official Good to hear it's working out for you and I had someone else that bought the LN system and I personally feel the same way about it as you do. The FVD offering looks very close to the X51 offering to help with the oil control.

Yea, for sure. I like the mentality behind the LN one a lot with the extra plate, but I don’t care for that one’s baffle so much. I think the FVD’s baffle is very good. Seals to every surface nicely. Like you said, it’s very similar to the X51 in that regard.

Do you have the part number for the 997 oil tube? Thanks
