I’ve had Purple Hyacinth on my list for a while, but I didn’t know it was on an indefinite hiatus!! Does it leave off on an ok spot if it does not continue for a long time? (I might keep putting off starting it if it stops right at a cliffhanger or right in the middle of everything 🙈) Also really excited about Loving Yamada-kun at Lv999, another one I’ve had on my list from you mentioning it 😂 It seems like the anime is being received really well, but I kinda want to read it before watching it 🤔 I’m really glad you gave A Condition Called Love a chance! I agree that Hananoi is intense and kinda sus, but as the story goes, they all get really good development and their romance is so adorable 💘 I agree with your comments about A Silent Voice 100%.. Because I’ve read series with really disgusting antagonists that I’ve still really liked the story, I really don’t think A Silent Voice was done well just for the fact that we hated the antagonists.. This was such an awkward buddy read since none of us really enjoyed it 🥲 Really looking forward reading Horimiya together 🥰
i think you're better off waiting more for Purple Hyacinth to come back 🥲 it tends to always leave off on a cliffhanger and S3 part 1 is no exception 😰 hopefully you enjoy yamada-kun~ when it picks up with them as a couple, it's a nice flow imo and the focus is on them for the most part the rest of the way (so far). i would say yes to reading it first and then watching. although i tend to prefer doing things in that order anyways bc i like watching the anime as a special treat with seeing a manga i enjoyed animated, with voice acting, music, etc. the yamada-kun anime is cute though and when you do watch it, there's clips after the ending credits ☺ ahh a silent voice. that was a rough one but glad we got through it and still talked about it since it is worth discussing. it's just hard to read a series full of characters i didn't really care for 😪 not to say that characters can't change my mind about them and basically have a redemption arc. but idk it was strange 😅
I hope that by not labeling these videos as monthly it will lessen the stress of trying to get them out on some sort of time table. Also since you mentioned trying an isekai due to it being a bl, if you haven't already I'd recommend The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter. It has two volumes out currently with volume three coming out next month.

I personally have been really enjoying it! Since it's not telling the same plot type of following the "saint" and instead the office worker who accidentally went with her is a neat concept. And the whole he's obsessed with work and the handsome knight is trying to get him to enjoy life is fun. I'm eagerly awaiting the next volume!

Do you know if they’re going to make a Boxsets for the remainder volumes? You had so many interesting BL that I’ve never heard of. Do you have a subscription to a site? If so, what size do you recommend reading BL on? glad i could keep you company on your way home 🥰 thanks so much for watching! ohhh TBHK is such a great series! it's really got so many elements to it that makes me laugh, cry, intrigued, etc. i'm going to guess that Yen Press will do another boxset...maybe another toilet stall to match the first haha. the Japanese vols are up to vol 19 so far and vol 18 will be releasing in a couple months for us. so i would predict maybe they'll do a second English boxset of 11-19 + vol 0 in the next 1.5-2 years? as for BL, i don't have a subscription to a site. i mostly read scans or read on Webtoons or Tapas. and for those, i don't mind buying the currency to read some chapters. ONSLTG vol 4 preorder is releasing in September and honestly, i have no clue how much longer they'll be traveling for haha. i could see this series going for another couple vols after that but it depends how much more traveling they'll be doing 🤭 i don't mind if it keeps going either but i do want to see them married too like you said! 🥲 maybe even more story of their married life! i would totally love that~

that's unfortunate to hear that you didn't enjoy A Silent Voice. I get it though honestly, it's not for everyone and I think I might enjoy it so much since I can relate to it on some level. personally it's one of my favourite manga as someone who hasn't been the best person in the past, not that I'm anywhere near the level of Ishida but I have had a hard time forgiving myself for some of the irrational things I've done in the past. People are flawed and we all fuck up and sometimes you can fuck up so bad that you don't feel like you deserve forgiveness and when I read this series it really helped me feel heard while not validated or what I did but instead encouraging me to better myself and move past what I did while still acknowledging that I did it and not just ignoring it.
