Archspire is definitely one of the top death metal bands out there. Another one to check out that is much more chill is Rivers of Nihil. where the owls know my name is the song I think you guys should check out, its got a 70s psychedelic feel to it.
Also guys i got a BIG feeling the Infant Annihilator suggestion are about to start coming through. Most people start out with Blasphemian, freaking hillarious video. But from IA themselves, they say Decapitation Fornication is probably a good start. One thing about these guys though, They are a parody deathcore band. They make the most extreme music with the most FUCKED content and lyrics that'll make you want to pour liquid metal into your ears. Absolutely amazing lads though.

Are you guys going to react to: Imminence - Heaven in Hiding & Temptation? Two very different songs, but both are my favourites from them. Heaven in Hiding is the calm before the storm that is Temptation. Their music videos connects a story, i think Heaven in Hiding is the Prequel to Temptation.
