Hello Chester, I have a F15, 2018 Hybrid, From my point of view, It Is one of the Best cars I ever driven. 38,000km. Bought second hand, 2800km. Nothing pays the fact that when you aré on the Road, everybody moved away to let you pass by, also when you get to a Restaurant, everybody looks at you with admiration and anvy. Nothing of whats you mention pays for that. There aré cars for poor people, there aré cars for high adquisición power. You decide how you want to look like in this life, I really enjoyed you videos From México about F15. Buy F15, low miliage.
Yes, I loves this car as well. Gives me excellent mileage for my short range driving. Barely needs to refuel any petrol.. Do watch the latest video where I clocked 3,000km before needs refueling
Definitely a lovely vehicle... Although I like hybrid I wouldn't choose it on this vehicle.. I believe it's better to save the extra cost of a hybrid, spebd it on fuel but not have the worry of a hybrid issue and also hybids cost more when you drive further away and go at say over 100km/h... For maintenance best have 10% of the vehicle price stored away in case any big problems come along...
All new tech are a gamble, even with big brands vehicle. This 40e Hybrid are excellent for short city driving and especially works very well for my type of work as a realtor
Excellent car...mine 2018...after having 2015...Great car...super powerful...Great economy and reliability...Real drivers car...Of course 45e a step up in tech and price.

Thank you for sharing this video. i currently owned bmw f30 330e. Bought brand new nov 2017. So far so good. Just sent to bmw SC last month for last claim warranty. Currently thinking of upgrading…but not sure what car to buy
If you're looking for sedan the G30 looks good. But I kind of prefer EV myself now. So, the iX1 for my wife is the next thing for me
@@chestercheng75 i was looking for Tesla model 3 but knowing there is no warranty from the manufacturer…i,m a bit sceptical. Now looking forward for a BYD Seal but only available in Q4 2023

Which one do u think is better to buy? And in term of maintain, which one is better?
Well, both are Germans, so kind of expensive to maintain. But hybrid does makes it much more expensive if things go wrong since more hardware. But for me GLA is just too small personally.

I have a 2016 40e which I have owned since 2019. Since that time I have changed all 4 tyres, repaired the actuator for the rear suspensions, changed all the front suspension arms and had an issue where the engine/hybrid switching stopped working.. I forgot what was the cause but it was repaired at BMW. Aside from that I love the car but I do regret replacing the tyres using once again runflats because of the harsh ride especially mine because it has 20 inch wheels 285 in front and 325 at the rears.
Wow, you have the last batch of 40e. But most of my issues parts replaced by BMW warranty during my last claims. So, I'm happy about that. But right now, my Control unit, KLE convenience charging fried.

Which OEM or bawah pokok mechanic do you suggest Mr Cheng? I have an issue with the sagging tyres on both left and right rear of the car. The drive is like riding a horse! Thank you for sharing this valuable piece of information.
I went to Autobahn at Bandar Sunway for my BMW car maintenance. Sagging tyres? Suggest you go check your absorbers are working as it should be and also check camber settings

It's a BMW, comes with the territory. LOL. Safe bet is always a Toyota or premium brand Lexus
Can quote some est price instead of say expensive... E.g 500 may be expensive for some, may be cheap for others

Hi, thank for doing a Malaysian review about this car. The prices for 2017/2018 look very tempting. BTW how much is the hybrid battery replacement fr refurbished sellers. Heard Mercedes E300 2.1 Bluetec is 40k fr Merc buy 25k fr refurbished sellers
Thanks for watching. BMW battery are modular base, so can can change per module instead of the entire battery cells. Each module should be around RM5k +- depending on the currency exchange

Would you think E53 X5 a better buy when it comes to maintenance cost and reliability
Well 1 thing for sure, it's a cheaper X5 in the used market. E53 Maintenance is definitely going to be cheaper than F15 since they less parts to worry about such as turbo system and in this case 40e the hybrid system. But overall it's still a BMW so don't expect the parts to be cheap and as reliable as the Japanese cars
