  • The fact that #Yellowstone and many other valuable natural heritage sites across the United States as well as the rest of the world, are protected to the extend to which they are today, can be drawn back to the foresight and love for nature of a few individuals, over 150 years ago. When explorers such as Ferdinand Hayden or Nathaniel Langford first came across the stunning landscape of Yellowstone in 1870 and 1871, they heavily advocated for the protection of unique lands like these, and laid the foundation of Nature Conservation and the National Park Service, which today maintains 63 National Parks in the US.
In this video, the #History of the 3 years leading up to the declaration of Yellowstone to become a #NationalPark will be explained, and you will get to know the men which made this happen.

My father longed to visit Yellowstone, passed away before he could. It's on the bucket list for me, before My time is up.

I just drove to Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone and the Teton National parks. The most spectacular part of the Country without a doubt. Colorado to Montana is God's country 😍
