The song that started it all for me. Made me a sir Rod fan for life. This song came out when I was 7 yrs old in 1971. Been there for my Jr high yrs, high school yrs(class of 82) and my 1 yr of college and raising my 3 kids .thank you sir Rod for being apart of my child hood. Ur still making the 2000s the best. My dear mother was named Margaret and she loved this song. For us kids it was amazing that our mother had her own song on the radio. I'd give anything to see her dancing and singing in the kitchen again. Thanks for the nice memories, Rod.

Why is it so hard for these multi millionaire rockers to just retire already. They look like shit, they sound like shit yet they’re the only ones who think they don’t.
….Update I just heard Rod is retiring from rock shows and touring etc…he’s going to concentrate on more studio stuff doing the standards and ballads. As he himself said during the interview no more Maggie May and Do Ya Think I’m Sexy live shows. He finally gets it. Now if we can only get Ian Gillan, Steven Tyler and a few more to just call it a day their legacy will be intact.

The good news is he didn't have the women in the band dressed as schoolgirls but he sounds like pub singer singing Rod Stewart songs. Saw him in the 70s and 80s and that's good enough.
