From the ref's point of view, Darnold had his back turned to him so there's no way to know if the defender grabbed the face mask or the shoulder pad. You can't flag things you THINK you see.
Rams were missing their top two WR, their best TE, multiple O-linemen, the defense wasn't good most of the year and Stafford is getting up in age, it's not the same as Purdy's situation
I agree with nick. Missed calls is apart of refereeing and if you can reveiw a non call it literally opens pandoras box for all kinda nonsense that hurts the game flow and the integrity of the game.
It's also ignoring that it wasn't just that Stafford didn't have his "Avengers", he didn't have an offensive line. Even now they still have a patchwork offensive line with a rookie center, that gets penalized a lot
Love how Bru calls out Nick for his double standard on Brock Purdy when talking about Stafford difference between having his stars and not having them.
He's absolutely correct in regards to Nick's takes on Purdy. However, he's kind of soft selling what Stafford has dealt with as of late....it's not just missing his top WR's....the offensive line has been decimated as well.....Rams were running out some offensive units before put together with shoestrings, bubble gum and a prayer.

Enjoy your six hour NFL game
They even have "replay assist" to overrule the on field crew.
@@skittybug6937I'm not enjoying ANY games when the refs are as likely to decide them as the players.
Wildes bring some love to the comments on one of your burners
❤
Any scoring play should be reviewed.
And then what? Officials review and find a subjective hold on the offense they didn't originally see that was nowhere near the play?! It's disaster waiting to happen.
*Pumpkin mode is classic* 😅
🥱
@@unicornhearts *lol. You don’t agree i take It??*
Does Stafford get a pass because he doesn't play good unless hes with a great number one receiver?
He seems to be but that’s because he is not too controversial outside of football and the rams fans are one of the more quieter fanbases. Stafford isn’t a star like other QBs are and he doesn’t have a lot of accolades or fanfare to trigger people
Nick don’t wanna add the review at the end bc he knows the refs actually do help the chiefs in the 4th quarter lol
So screwing them over for 3 qtrs to keep teams in games doesn't matter? Only correct calls at the end of a game matter? Try again loser
I agree with Nick about challenging no calls. Slippery slope to enable
Nick knows if they do challenges on plays like that they’ll just call the chiefs offensive lineman who hold and grab on every big play.
Yea cuz every other team doesn't 😂😂😂 loser comment
Didn’t one of the cheifs offensive line players had the most penalties call on last year? So how do the refs help the cheifs?
The way to do the challenge correctly would do it like the UFL does it. Anything is able to be challenged. But the coach must state the exact played and penalty they’re challenging. It worked in the UFL. It would work in the NFL. That said - Vikings weren’t winning this game.

“We just talked tennis, so to payback the network Dallas Cowboys.” 😂😂😂 That got me!!
Nick absolutely despises the fact that Lamar is playing the best ball of his career right now.
Hes worried Ravens are going to take the Chiefs out.
@GoldTau-l2d I mean, we are smack dab right in the middle of the regular season right now. Great observation.
Guess who's on pumpkin mode 🧐
.....
THE REFS‼️
They have never been good
They're a whole pumpkin patch at this point

Yes but it seems to be getting worse 🧐

Loooool 😅 right in time for fall
"We just talked about tennis, so for the network: Dallas Cowboy" LMFAO NICK
Anyone else really tired of hearing about the Cowboys?
Im a cowboys fan and I'm tired of hearing or even watching them 😅
If everyone stop viewing it, then they will stop talking about it. It’s the same with the lakers
No. This is the best Cowboys season in recent memory.
I think a simple, preemptive flag to then have the meeting to discuss it would have prevented the whole fiasco. But their bird-watching and stammering made it so they missed their window. Not like that crew was shy about throwing flags all game.
now he has to overcome another obstacle. So I’m gonna support him. I’m gonna lift him up. “And I’m gonna be there for him. Because I see the way he fights. I see the way that he works. And I know who he is, as a person and as an NFL quarterback. And that’s all I have to say to address him”😁
What if Darnold sustained a serious neck injury on that non call? Yikes.
Then it’s unfortunate for him. What if it did get called as it was supposed to and he still got hurt? Gonna give the Vikings a win because of it? Bad injuries happened all the time on routine tackles and hits in the NFL.
great point KW! it was a scoring play
Where is the full video?
Of course Nick is sighing in disgust about reviewing flags in the last two minutes of the game.
I get the desire for it but you can’t make uncalled penalties challengeable, that opens a massive can of worms and would be a mess
This couldn’t have been more blatant and egregious. Byron Young told you what he just did when he put his hands on his helmet. He wasn’t celebrating.
That was a scoring play that should've been reviewed
There were 2 refs one in the back of the end zone and one right in frony of Darnold. No way. HE DIDN'T SEE IT! He didnt want to make that call!
And why’s that? Ohh that’s right it’s rigged. I’m trying to see how this helps the chiefs
You don’t even have to change the rules. I thought all scoring plays were automatically reviewed? That’s a play that put points on the board so it should’ve been reviewed by default.
But penalties aren’t reviewable anyway
The scoring play itself is reviewable, the penalty is not.
I love Nicks, Tex Watson look
The NFL preaches about player safety but allows unreviewed facemasks
Nick saying no to challenges because the chiefs get all those calls . 😂😂
Except they don’t
Didn’t the chief get an offside penalty against the bills that called back the touchdown? The Chiefs lost that game. So how the do the chiefs get all the calls?
@@joegardner851 Mahomes literally got punched in the throat in the last game. A Chiefs player leads the league in penalties, not to mention all stats related to penalties, including roughing the passer can be easily researched, but that doesn’t fit their narrative. They are tired of the Chiefs winning and don’t know how to cope.
@@b1foschiefs get at me when the chiefs win a game that isn’t centered around a flag or swallowed whistle.
@@b1foschiefs its pathetic. People make excuses for why their team. My team lost to the packers last week by a lot and had a lot of penalties. It’s not because it’s rigged, it because my team wasn’t prepared and play poorly. The results on the field showed.
You don’t lose a game on one play. You lost it because you didn’t make enough plays. Like last night. The Vikings had opportunities and they couldn’t get the ball in the end zone.
Even if they called it, they still had to go 82 yards with no timeout and go for 2 to tie the game.
Nick has an amazing point tbh about missed calls, but New York HAS to be able to call in and change a game changing blatant blown call.
Funny how Rams seem to always get those
Nick saying if micha plays cowboys win is weird since he never does good against the niners
Or in any big games in his career up to this point.
8:30 just expand the replay assist rules. Look at how they do it in high level Rugby. It works fine.
Coach shouldn’t be able to challenge but the booth should be able to talk to the refs and tell them hey broski you missed one
FTF pointing out the defender putting his hands on his head when Al Michaels and Herbstreit looked at the play about 10 times and didn't notice it once is... interesting
Wow surprise surprise , Nick Wright Champions yet another #1 pick QB Mathew Stafford and the rams … along with Burrow, baker, Caleb and Trevor
There's no way he can look at the entirety of that defenses roster and say again "they can win the Superbowl lmfao
That's exactly the 1st thing that came to my mind when he said that.
Brou trying to compare Stanford to Purdy doesn’t work. Stafford is actually good
Safety is a scoring play that should've been reviewable
If that woulda been Mahomes instead of Darnold, Young woulda been ejected from the game and suspended for the next game. Smh
And a 50k fine
Rams had game won weather the call was made or not ! Verse and Fiske were held all game
Scoring plays are automatically reviewed in the 2-min warning right? Why isn’t a safety a scoring play?
From the ref's point of view, Darnold had his back turned to him so there's no way to know if the defender grabbed the face mask or the shoulder pad. You can't flag things you THINK you see.
Dude the one picture they showed has the one ref staring straight at Darnold
This needs to be the 9 a.m show
Rams were missing their top two WR, their best TE, multiple O-linemen, the defense wasn't good most of the year and Stafford is getting up in age, it's not the same as Purdy's situation
They need NFL HQ to make this ecalls instantly
I finally see why Nick always hated on the vikings in power rankings. You were correct.
I agree with nick. Missed calls is apart of refereeing and if you can reveiw a non call it literally opens pandoras box for all kinda nonsense that hurts the game flow and the integrity of the game.
There's a difference between missing SOME "Avengers" and having NONE like Stafford has. Terrible point
It's also ignoring that it wasn't just that Stafford didn't have his "Avengers", he didn't have an offensive line. Even now they still have a patchwork offensive line with a rookie center, that gets penalized a lot
I’m not gonna say it but we all know why they won’t challenge penalties
When having a losing record makes u better than a 5-2 team
Love how Bru calls out Nick for his double standard on Brock Purdy when talking about Stafford difference between having his stars and not having them.
He's absolutely correct in regards to Nick's takes on Purdy. However, he's kind of soft selling what Stafford has dealt with as of late....it's not just missing his top WR's....the offensive line has been decimated as well.....Rams were running out some offensive units before put together with shoestrings, bubble gum and a prayer.
