I think even investing in mutual funds you can get a very kickass returns if you time it well there are lot of mutual funds which has given 18 to 25 percent CAGR which is huge so for example if you want to take exposure in small caps companies mutual funds will be the best bet according to me because your risk is massively diversified and good small cap can give you anything between 20 to 25 percent and if you can time it somehow than it will be ice on a cake

What he did was far from degrading mutual funds, he said that in an ideal scenario when one wants to enter the stock market they should start investing directly to get more returns. If that is not possible (as it was in my case - I was afraid of the market), then surely go ahead and invest using mutual funds as they provide 10-12% returns which is quite okay for beginners.
I started off with mutual funds and after about a year I felt confident enough to start with direct portfolio investing using smallcase.

I left my accounting and finance profile thinking 20k per month salary is what this field people pay. I shifted my whole career to Digital marketing. I was trying to forget Accounts and Finance but your videos are driving me crazy back to these things.

This "Hey Akshat" thingy is so narcissistic. I know this comment may receive some hate but I am just sharing my opinion 😁...
Also, I hate to like the way he put a narrative that anyone who may or already working for him would not receive more the 15k 😁
Yeah, 15k for 15 years - its ain't so tough.

Thank you so much and great points, if i reflect back on my own journey my equity portfolio in the last 5 years grow at about 17% CAGR and my mutual funds' portfolio at 11% and I have put less money in my portfolio because of the pessimism that I will end the losing money that I am investing on my own.

I don't know which scheme you invested but I don't agree with Akshat on this .. my average return is more than 15 percent in MF...mirae asset mutual fund is great and if all my investment is in that MF only my return would be over 20 percent in 5 years.. waiting for 10 years ... See the return of mirae now after 10 year is 24 percent

@@ajeetsaxena5860 great if something happens with Mirae Asset in future then? All ur money is gone rite. U might hv heard about eggs and basket.... don’t keep in one basket it will spoil over years. Actually I didn’t understand what Akshat was trying to say, in the thumbnail he said 15k in 10 years became 1cr and his calculations were showing somewhere around 47 lakh, then he told us to find some other job to make another 15k . Then he talked about his recruiting agency. Actually he is selling his products or giving ideas I didn’t understand

Hi Akshat, great video as always 👏
But it'd be great if you could also list down an ideal diversification/distribution of 15-20k/month to get those 15% returns.
What stocks to buy? Mutual Funds? Cryptos?
